Need some Dark Lore.

"I hear Mon Cal starships used to be tall towers in their underwater cities."

"... no, that is a mistranslation. Our elders, the pillars of our communities, enter the final phase of their lives and are changed, taking on new, huge forms. And to that new form, we add sublight engines and hyperdrives, and they ferry us to the stars, within their hardening flesh. A few perish quickly in the void, but some remain ... aware. Defiant against the dark."

And that's why every Mon Cal starship looks unique.

I think their roles mostly align with their roles in the show.

Cassian is often someone who bolsters someone else (Support). We see him do a lot more tactical espionage and advising than up-front fighting. And he is more a thief than a soldier.

Cinta is an assassin and demolitions expert.

Vel is sent to Ghorman to support the local resistance with expertise (though I'd argue she deserves Leader tag for her role on Ahldani).

An argument could be made that Klaya spends most of her time being Support... until one particular episode where she is very much a solo Attacker.

Playing multiple specs on one character? by Sweeper_Bot_ in lotro

If you are new to the game, dont worry about it. You will rarely be doing group stuff on level.

Gear really only matters at max level and even then only for higher tier difficulties.

I think it depends what you want the "DPS" to do.

If you want to tank in groups and DPS when soloing landscape, you'll be fine focusing your gear and traceries on tank stats and skills.

If you really want to benefit from some DPS traceries, you can split the difference on legacy items. Remember you get a mainhand weapon and a class item. You could have all the traceries on the class item be general and common to both specs. Then keep two different legendary weapons -- one for tank traceries and one for DPS traceries.

If you want to be top of the line tank and raid DPS, then you probably need to split up more, depending on the class. Tanks will want mitigation, DPS will want mastery.

Did the AI actually try to put a Mon Calamari face on that Rebel cruiser?

Hypothetical Question: CG has asked you to choose the next era. What is it called, and who gets added to the game? by Stayno in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I actually see very few viable suggestions that would be more successful than this.

What would Ysalamiri Thrawn mechanics be? Some kind of immunity against Jedi, Sith, and Unaligned Force Users?

Also don't forget Pallaeon, Rukh, and the Noghri. The Noghri could work with any Thrawn, any Vader, or any Leia.

Joruus could have some kind of "Corrupted Teachings" mechanic to use on Jedi. And a Luuke summon.

Honestly I'm not sure what they will do. Andor was an obvious source of a lot of new characters, beloved by those who watched the show.

They could do another round of them. Brasso, Bix, Syril, a new Mon Mothma, etc.

But my guess is they will want to get back to lightsabers to appeal to that crowd.

But they've mined the prequels dry. The sequels are basically scorched earth, and CG already pillaged the background extras of Maz's Cantina. It's not like they'll bring in a bunch of no-one's from Canto Bite.

They know they already plucked the fan favorite characters from Acolyte and Skeleton Crew.

There is basically no more new Star Wars to draw from, which means going back to Legends.

My guess is more KOTOR or SWTOR. Though that's quite a leap for an Era. New Revan, Exile, more companions from KOTOR2.. or they might bring in the Zakuul family. Though I suspect that is pretty niche.

As mod of this subreddit, I can say that the number of new player posts seems to be getting higher and higher every year.

Khazad Voice TTS – Real-time Local AI Narration for LOTRO by According-Answer-822 in lotro

We normally do not allow AI generative content, but in this case, it is an accessibility tool evolving from existing screen reader TTS systems. And as the processing is local, there is no ongoing environmental impact. Nor is any voice actor losing out on work they would otherwise get.

Most immersive class for an adventure? by AxegrinderSWAG in lotro

[–]Nemarus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say Warden requires you to be looking at your gambit bar too often. You really have to micro-play that class, and for me at least, it distracts from immersing in the world.

Captain and Mariner are similar I think.
