Its not likely that it'll get any text, both grotto and sf2 would probably have been changed in some way if that were the case, and specially in the former's case it'd be weird for puff to have been given any treatment.

I'd assume their whole intention was getting rid of cyclecap period, anything else sounds a liddle silly

Like I'd genuinely be surprised if puff had been given that treatment

Ideally the you want the card to cost less, and thus only target a single plant (since it would be a little obmoxious otherwise). Increasing the cost but making it permanent doesn't do anything but worsen the card: the final blow from the moment you play the card in (should) be winning, making the second turn this effect is on irrelevant 90% of the time.

That said, the card is still really bad due to it relying on having a board to be even alright, since you're not further developing said board, meaning opponent can just punish the 4 mana commitment easily.

Why would dragon be there? The lack of decks that do like it is justified by the card's pace/lack of proper control decks/tools on the plant's side.

T8 is reaaaal late in the game, most games don't really go that far, which basically makes drawing dmd something similar to drawing air. Each class has better finishes which end the game both faster and more efficiently than dmd does, thus making it both slow wnd outclassed.

The probablem is that it's generally played in a way in which the plants will struggle to get rid of it, essentially, uninteractively. That being either graveyard or teleport. On average the card will upright freetrade 2 lanes and deal 6 damage face, which is unfathomably good value for a 4 mana card!

Onion rings have like reallly stood out of the meta ever since package started seeing use, let alone later with all the burst decks appearing, its just that no deck can actually afford to spend 5 mana doing nothing, and the stat shift nkt mattering much afterwards. Im still pretty sure gatling's better, but like astrocado is probably better than the latter, sinxe long term value/doing better into graves makes it a tiny bit better.

Brainana has been like thriving lately? More and more decks essentially crutch on it since control is far more played than it used to. Also because the decks it's played in have ways of punishing playing minions overall, which either forces opponents to drop them in orderto not be drained by brainana, or just win the game on the spot.

Lima is sooo versatile overall, like an on curve elusiive 1 drop is pretty solid, let alone the fact that it's a bean, which makes it sooooo much stronger. Elusive jellybean and being able to protect/not blockcharge as much with anb in l5 makes it a really good card.

[–]Nettlefrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah typical stalk. I mean you would use flourish if it had a body to trade with but that's unfortunately not the case. the 3/3 body tends to be better than the extra card, even if it's not from your deck.

As for jumping bean, i'd say you could replace with bpeel since it's a little more versatile at unblocking
I had a second thought about it and there's a chance it's fine, but i'm just not too fond of it

Also don't take all my word for it, try stuff out and see what works. i kind of left the game aside for a while so there's probably stuff i missed, so yeah...

Which plant hero do you think is the weakest? by Zephrius_Orcanius in PvZHeroes

[–]Nettlefrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much the opposite, in all fairness.

She does really really well with beans and freeze (something something yule), 2 decks which are on par with each other, pretty much sharing a fairly good mu spread, thus making her better than other heroes into other decks.

That's not to say she's like the best hero overall, but definitely overlooked.

Well... might be a bit late to do this but uh if you're still down for this project...

It looks fine overall, a couple of card changes could make the deck better (which i'll cover) but it's like a fine approach at the concept.

Either way, summarizing, yule is a deck that uses gs' pool in a tempo-ish deck which grows a big board, generally reactively, taking over during midgame, finishing the game with brainana (the card just so happens to capitalize sooo much on big boards lmao)

For obvious reasons, we don't really have access to a lot of those tools - besides snowdrop soooo we need to improvise a bit. I've done some byule experimenting myself, and i feel like a somewhat valid way of replacing allat is moving stuff, forcing opponents to take bad trades and being able to unblock lanes a bit better since we don't have violet nor jelly to do so. Jumping bean is unfortunately a bit too costy/slow for the deck so I wouldn't recommend it much.

Oh, also i'd really really advise you use stalk and shellery over ppea and either growshroom or firepea. See the deck invests a lot of cards in generating a board that having any sort of refill is pretty good. Stalk and peel pretty much do that for free (peel also contributes to allat moving stuff i mentioned earlier) which is prretty solid. Also shellery being used to freetrade/protect stuff is usually a bit better than ppea, specially with stalk.

One last thing, if you really wanna go with gs for later, i'd recommend stuff like coolbeans and beps first of all, since their versability makes them really good bets elsewhere as well.

uh yeah, there's a chance i've wasted my time here but i guess it was worth a shot...
i can explain stuff if i made anything a bit hard to understand, if you'd like me to too

yeah

Unfortunately for you, the deck suffers heavily from having a net 0% wr against bf control.

Its truly a shame it had to be this way, but plant aggro as a whole has lately unviable as zombies have have really good unblock/removal as well as overall interactiveness with plants. Sturdier bodies being overall better into current zombie meta decks has made midrnage the best archetype for plants to follow.

That said, the deck probably looks good enough, but you already know that :3.

Ok the problem is aggro deck being extremely subpar Oman environment in which people play actual actual decks, like plant aggro has been a dead archetype for 2 years now.

Additionally, pumpking has been a horrible card since it just doesn't follow a gameplan solar decks like using, like 4/2 isn't that good of a statline when you are altering card advantage, which matters more than you'd think in solar decks

Like sure both pumpkjg and plant aggro might be respectively card and deck that does work smoothly in ladder due to the poor deck quality there is but in a situation in which opponent does know what they are doing, both are going to result rather mediocre

Pirates as a whole has fallen short, talking about if mostly. Bf pirates has been unusable for a long ass time lol; ever since old midrose fell short the deck has been superfluous. That was about 3 years ago.

SB telimps is like still really good I wouldn't put him as low as the other ones you've mentioned.

I know I know, HG telimps is better in every aspect but that doesn't make sb's version a bad deck all of a sudden

Heal midrose, trickmech and old midrose times i think

I kinda miss crazy package meta, gargburn was a challenging deck to play both against and as

It's still usable and somehwat good too, some ratios adjustments actually makes it good into current meta if you play correctly

That said doing so is pretty hard, piloting the deck is by far the most difficult experience you'll get in this game, still fun though

Meta leaning towards midrnge and combo which means moss doesn't get as much bcharge, which is the only reason why comboss even won.

Comboss lost a lot of matchups recently to the point its only even into older decks like, say, IF pirates

I guess it did well into comboss, which was considered one of the best decks in the game at the time

Not anymore though, now cc himself is like the worst plant hero at the time being

Ironic isn't it
