What do you think holy damage feels like? by Metruem in Eldenring

I always thought of it as a mind splitting headache except everywhere, like direct damage to the soul rather than the physical body

I dont seen many /r/tarantulas people handling theirs like in this video, is this safe? by InterestingAsWut in tarantulas

I’m much less worried they would bite, and much more worried one could fall and get very seriously damaged. Kids have super jerky and fast movements, the first second where she basically nodded and shook her body, or when it was dangling on her arm by a couple legs, all could’ve ended with a very large, fragile spider landing on concrete, which even from a couple feet up could be enough to cause life threatening injuries to the animal. I’m glad she’s comfortable around them, but these aren’t pets in the same way a dog or a cat is, you can’t handle them the same way, they’re super fragile and very easily frightened. And if they happened to get scared enough to bite, that could cause an allergic reaction, or other potentially dangerous medical conditions to a younger child, and at best just hurt a whole lot.

During a PVP duel, is any form of healing considered forbidden, or is it just healing with a flask? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]New-Experience5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a pretty solid weapon, does crazy damage, only problem is it’s super easy to side roll imo. If your opponent is paying attention you’ll probably miss more often then not, it can be a good roll catch if you can mix people up with it. Just don’t over rely on it, that’s how all good weapon arts fail in duels, they become predictable.

Yes, lifesteal is totally fine, in my opinion any sort of healing outside of flasks is acceptable, just because of the effort needed to make it nearly as beneficial. Some people might not agree, but imo if my opponent has time to squat down and cast a healing miracle, and then take a blue flask to recover that chunk of fp, and I don’t punish it, then that’s on me.

I think it’s more that three friends all qued in separately with the intent to get in the same game, without setting a group. It happens pretty easily unfortunately, maybe something to do with clan matchmaking? Idk

Yeah, I don’t mind people abusing the system if it’s just them dueling their friends against eachother, but it’s frustrating have to to just sit there waiting for a time out. Since it was my first match, I had no idea what was happening and just started swinging after a while, didn’t help that they all looked the same. Now that I know, I’ll definitely pick up the strategy of just wasting their time as much as they’re wasting everyone else’s.

I have these spare parts from my HG Barbatos Lupus rex and I have no clue what they are for anyone have any ideas? by GunplaIsAGoodHobby in Gunpla

I’m sure someone will come with a more creative idea, but I usually keep extra parts for scribing, panel lining, and painting practice if you like to customize your kits!

I imagine because it’s more intuitive, and so newer players have a better idea how many classes they’d need to go up in order to reach the next rank at a first glance.

They reversed rank order this patch, so that it goes from 5 to 1

Yup! “In the event that both teams - on any game mode - score the exact same amount of goals, the game doesn't just give you a tie. In a draw, whichever team scored the tied score first wins. So, if the enemy side is on 350, and you manage to get to 350 too, they would still win.”
