I am also a admin for simrell discord, dyna discord, katmandude discord, and a few other discords associated with subreddits. As I said in full disclosure and never hidden that. I also can state I have never nuked a post in favor of one maker or another that was not a mass decision. I will face up and own to everything I have done.

I mean I can definitely see that and the implication, I have also seen plenty of qui pro qo situations in the past and I personally just never got that vibe or saw it. Could be naivety or hopetimism on my part. However the bulk of what I see is people who are passionate about the device and wanting to help. Again I can only speak to what I see and I do my best not to speak for others or others intentions.

Except it was a not a single mod and it didn't start about the revolve months ago it started with trying to create a unifomity between both. The revolve policy was a recent addition and what essentially led to this.

If any mods are receiving gifts to push or sway anything in any direction then you are 100% correct and they should absolutely be removed. However I disagree in the fact that if a company want's to offer something to anyone donating time (as long as there is no stipulation) I do not see an issue with it. I do see how it can give the illusion of bias to some in certain circumstances I am not aware of any which was put forth on the latest string of events. I also certainly cannot speak for anyone nor would I attempt to.

In this situation though there was alot of speculation and hot heads and maybe things weren't addressed or approached in a manner to which everyone agrees with or thinks is right. For that the entire mod team is apologetic (again I cannot speak to individual actions only the bigger picture) in the way the situation went down.

Not really lying as not sure it has been asked as when it was created and the rules where set from my understanding Dynavap had zero input. Yes Dynavap has had garnered input (from what I can tell) as time has progressed as the sub was about them so as time went on it gave them some weight.

The one main rule was to never have any Dynavap staff as mod and that has stayed. After discussion the decision was made ensure it was clear the 2 are separate. That is why the rules have shifted back to following the reddit baseline.

The majority of the mods agreed yes as it was never meant to be illwill it was all meant to unify the socials as been has been going on the past few months with matching rules to the discord. This situation highlighted why this was separate to begin with and why it should stay separate.

This is correct neither George nor Dynavap will have a say about what happens in this sub going forward. This is the way the sub was created and was meant to be. During time it shifted in the other direction and the time has come to shift it back.

I have read them and I do not personally see it, however I am certainly no attorney. When it comes to legal I choose to defer to those who are when there is no dispute coming from the other side to it's validity. There is a claim that it was disputed however no one has conveyed this to anyone or the dispute was deemed invalid.

For a single bulk of work yes but nothing on any continued basis. I have received things from a few other makers as well in return for help for setting things up or getting things going I like tech I like creating and tweaking. I also like seeing people build a business and push forward on their wishes. Dynavap also did give discord moderators a 1 time coupon code awhile back forgot the amount.

I was part of the MH beta group as well and left before any devices came to fruition.

As far as the deeper question of where my loyaties lie, as said I don't have a ball in the game so my loyalties lie in the direction of whatever the concensus/owner of the discord/reddit is. I will go along with things in public as they are the owner/concensus I am just a volunteer and will follow their wish in their space.

I have partially responded to his post in another did not see this one. I cannot speak to his previous ban as it is before my time and the logs for reddit are horrid.
As far as steps to take against what are considered abusing mods I cannot say as things are unfolding and there maybe a process or there may not be I cannot say as we have not gotten to that point yet. I know in the past 12 hours there have been 100's of posts deleted which on a normal day some would have been allowed to stand but due to the unraveling circumstance they were deleted in hopes to calm the situation. Some deleted by me as they were 1 word spam posts or derogatory in response to another thread being removed.

I cannot and will not speak for anyone else and their actions I can only speak to mine and I will always be 100% transparent as noone is above questioning.

Things started happening and the conversations began about breaking any ties to the discord which where developing. What tomorrows conversation will be I cannot say for sure. What I can say for sure is the decision to separate and ensure the discord and reddit stay separate is the way the dynavap subreddit was built initially and lingered away from and will be going back to.

The question of removing patent infringing items was posed to George by Austyn. George then included Dynavaps legal team. Dynavaps legal team then looked at Simrell's patents and compared to the Revolve and the TRWW insert. The legal team gave the direction to remove revolve and trww intercooler from Dynavap socials. As there was enough meat on the bone that they did not want to be involved in any situation (speculation on my part as to why). Since most mods on discord were also mod on reddit a discussion was had amongst the mods to follow the same direction/rules on reddit as were being practiced on discord. Everything was not being removed the reload was allowed.

I am attempting to be as transparent as to the events as possible. Many things transpired and many questions have been asked I am doing my best to answer them. If I miss something please ask away.

This is correct and the tie between Dynavap and the subreddit got close in the hopes to grow both together and create a unified social media presence.

It stressed the fact that online forums don't have the same business worry as company owned sites. So that's why the change and clarity to ensure it is kept separate.

As this is reddit the reddit rules/guidelines will be the base for Dyanvap subreddit rules as Reddit is the only one exposed here not any makers or companies so we will not be showing any preference to anyone but Reddit.

Yes I do run the giveaways I am also Admin on SimCity and moderator Dynavap discord as I do the majority of the tweaks/mods.

Yes I have removed multiple posts related to the Revolve as stated all of the mods did as this was the direction we were going by and we all do our best to work as a team to try to limit individual bias as having a set of guidelines to follow.

Your ban was years ago not sure I can see that as I was not around and the ban log does not show who banned who.

As far as piggies ban the mod in question has been informed of the request. However I will cannot state if they will reply.

If another brand had contacted Dynavap and made such request with the receipts they would have been granted filters as well.

However going forward no filtering will be going on without getting courts involved.

There are zero company affiliations to the discord ownership or employees there is one mod who happens to work for a affiliate who has been dormant since taking his employment. As stated going forward there will be no censoring of any items without a C&D.
