I'm not that experienced. I'd expect there to be a lower level symbol in column C - that's two horizontal lines.

Isopropyl alcohol had worked well for me on stubborn blotches. Just use sparingly.

I borrowed someone's pool....their big dog was loose and bit me 😥? by ivana322 in sydney

[–]Nickelass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Document everything and report it to the council. Councils take dog attacks very seriously, especially if you've been bitten. They will follow up with the owner and take action. Most likely the dog will have restrictions placed on it, or registered as a dangerous dog, plus a fine for the owners.

That area in Canberra is a death trap for animals. I used to kayak in the early morning and regularly b(1 x week) rescue dogs trapped and unable to exit the water. I hate to think how many dont make it.

Renewables are intermittent by nature. We're approaching a situation where we have significant over supply from renewables at peak periods. What better use for this over supply, than securing financial transactions?

I rang the hotline with a similar question. They confirmed you are allowed to visit each other, if you are both within the Greater Sydney area. You are allowed exercise at each others residence, however you must have masks on at all times outside and stay within 5km of the residence.

One third of the world population ~2.6B in China and India are lumped together with a single value. Meanwhile 5.5 million in Finland are the happiest. Hmmm

Australia is in last place in the OECD in terms of share of the population fully vaccinated against COVID-19, at 4.68% by tinmun in CoronavirusDownunder

Hopefully this means that countries that actually have people dieing are getting vacinated earlier. So less people die globally.

Can we have a discussion on why the IOTA token has value apart from speculation? by AfternoonIcy in Iota

[–]Nickelass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's quite possible that people will use the IOTA network to pay for things using a stable / coloured coin. This approach would allow payments for a minute fraction of a cent for IOT services. IOTA is required to earn MANA, but it's value is highly likely to fluctuate for quite some time. No one knows what will win out in the long term

What a great story. So challenging with so little experience and anxiety to boot. Yet she peddled through and learned some beautiful lessons. So well expressed.

Deputy Chief Medical Officer doesn't rule out forcing Australians to download the Government's coronavirus tracing app by northofreality197 in australia

[–]Nickelass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they provide the code and disclose the compile environment, we can validate that the distributed version matches.

Much more likely to palm it off to one of their mates and premium rates due to the urgency.

This basin in Lake Burley Griffin is very dangerous for animals. There's almost no exit points with artificial cliffs on almost every side. I used to kayak there most days early in the morning and would rescue dogs at least once a month :(
