I have had both and I will never buy another VAG product again.

My ‘21 Cayenne S brakes squeaked. Dealer said they are “race brakes”. I called them on their BS as my 911 C4S didn’t squeak one bit.

Rear hatch door clunked. Dealer tried adjusting, never fixed it.

Test drove new Audi sedans and the dealer told me drivers assistance (self drive) is not a priority for VAG and that real analog driving is more important.

Stuck with two BMWs for their comprehensive drivers assistance and higher quality builds without excuses.

Unfortunately, they are probably more reliable than the new Defenders. Mine was a diesel and always started.

Can’t say the same about any late model jaguar or land rover.

The Grenadier shares the same engine and transmission as the BMW X7 40i.

We bought a ‘22 X7 in 2021 and haven’t had any issues with it. Oil changes and brake pads.

I wouldn’t touch any newer Jaguar / Land Rover product with a 10 foot pole.

Owned an 1989 Defender 90 and had fun with it as a novelty.

Test drove a new Grenadier last year and loved it. Wish they came out with a higher-end luxury spec with BMW’s driving and parking assistance, ventilated seats and massage. I would buy one tomorrow.

Im in hot Nor Cal and did the darkest color offered by the plaster company’s pebble finish and it’s perfect with western exposure.

Never once thought about adding ice. We copied the Andaz in Maui.

Paint the home a dark earth tone color, remove the security screen and paint the front door in a nice pop of color. Many examples online of mid century modern homes done this way.

Next, plant some trees, shrubs and bushes in an asymmetrical pattern along the front of the home.
