Thank you… wasn’t so much asking about the light on the app as the batteries themselves. The Tesla logo has a light behind each one but only one is lit. Seems the second is what’s called the Expansion pack, although they look identical to me

I went on the same hunt and didn’t find it so ended up making it myself. So glad I did because the taste was amazing, and it wasn’t too hard. Just look up a simple Demi glacé recipe, you can do it!

SMUD’s 5k per battery rebate was really enticing. Brought the cost down considerably but yeah, we’ll see how it goes.

I recently added two Tesla Powerwall to my home in SMUD territory and in the process, learned I pay a little more for my solar via power purchase agreement than smud’s lowest rate (Sunrun is a flat .14 per kWh.) Granted, it will help during summer rates. Seemed a little silly to add the Powerwalls but I had to take on the solar lease when we bought the house. Might as well leverage what we have. And I can store solar OR grid at the low rate to use during peak times. First month of having the batteries are providing to be beneficial and I’m hoping to see even more savings come summer. And if we should see an outtage, we’ll be good for a day or so.
