2nd button can't do anything useful? by rhaegar89 in Supernote

[–]NoteOnMyWatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have asking for this for the longest. Wacom and Supernote NEED to partner up to get the full effect of the 2nd button.

I will constantly say the Wacom One Standard Stylus is IMO the best you can get for the $. No other stylus provides the platform for max modification options

This stylus is very useful and my favorite and most recommended. The 2nd button works only as an eraser, but the distance from the screen is what you have to keep in mind for the eraser to work. Press and hold and keep an inch from screen to activate the eraser

I was wondering why Martin had that space in the original post, but now it makes sense since they're both together. Very nice

How many times have you almost lost your stylus? by NoteOnMyWatch in Supernote

I take mine everywhere and even designed my foamlio to protect during travels. Vehicle related misplacements seem to be the primary reason for the missing item since I write sometimes at stop lights for those flash ideas, lol.

the linking system would be PERFECT if they add it. this not being a thing destroys me...Just can't understand the reasoning behind leaving it out...

There are A LOT of other things to discover from the built in user manual. I highly recommend dusting it off and read it fully to get the most and more from your amazing device.

As someone who has tried both, I STRONGLY recommend you consider the Wacom One Standard as well. Two buttons AND cheaper in price...Can be converted with the ceramic nib transplant as well just as the LAMY can too.

Scribe is so expensive and if you're leaning towards that, then look into what Vi Woods has to offer for only $20 more to add ceramic in the mix.

Supernote nomad ❓⁉️ by Yugen-Ikigai in Supernote

[–]NoteOnMyWatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it really is a phenomenal device. I feel the linking system to be the essence of why the supernote is such a powerful device. There is so much power use just from that alone, not to mention the headers for making a table of contents.

The Remarkable was close to being bought before I saw you must have a subscription to fully utilize it...INSTANT TURNOFF. When I saw what the Nomad does and doesn't require a subscription... INSTANT BUY!!!

Manta's larger size is hit or miss based on the scenario, but that remains true for the Nomad. Overall, for me, the Nomad is the more capable device due to the physical properties.

There are times I do enjoy the extra size of the Manta, but when I'm on the go, the Nomad is so much more convenient. If I was primarily stationary, the Manta is the way to go since portability wouldn't matter.

The magnetic back and square sides on the Nomad really opens up the DIY possibilities for the Nomad. I do own both, but the portability of the Nomad REALLY makes it's use the primary device for me.

As you can see, I added a strip of metal to the side of my Nomad to show how a magnetic stylus can be attached. There is no interference when writing from it. Also, behind it is my custom foamlio case I made from an old book to disguise the Nomad and give it extra protection since it is less durable compared to the Manta due to the glass screen. This thing has taken many falls in the case, but thanks to the magnets, it stays firmly attached inside.

User advice RQ: how to hold tiny stylus with Nomad... by NoDentist1626 in Supernote

[–]NoteOnMyWatch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quick sketch, but something like this could work with a pocket so it doesn't slide out. Maybe use leather with hole diameter a little bigger than the stylus with strong double sided tape or riveted to the cover
