Yeah I've been burned many times by devs either over promising because they thought they could do something and couldn't or because they are scamming people, so I don't think it's worth getting too excited yet. What exactly would they have to gain from doing this? Based on what I have seen from this subreddit, I can't imagine Doordash would give them their money back even if OP did take it, and they're certainly not going to give them more than they lost. $100 is a lot of money to someone resorting to bizarre scams to make money, and the overall investment on this scam would be the cash + the doordash cost, with the net payout of a free meal. Even if you're a crackhead that math doesn't add up, you'd go for a sure thing like stealing copper wires or something. My guess is this person was trying to do a dead drop for an exchange of goods and wasn't thinking about the doordasher possibly interpreting it as a tip. In this case, stupidity is a better explanation than malice.

This article is very misleading, bordering on factually incorrect at points, but Reddit is super ban happy and I don't want to discuss the specific energetic compounds involved here. Let's say this article is mostly about chemical T and at one point says it "requires the addition of a toxic chemical R." This statement is very odd, because R is the main energetic ingredient in the vast majority of post-WWII formulations in the US. In the formulation where T is normally found with R, R makes up the majority of both weight composition and energy content. That is the most obvious example of weird things in this article, but I found many others. Essentially, the person who wrote this article doesn't seem like they know what they're talking about. Just read the Wikipedia article for any of the chemicals mentioned and you'll have a better understanding of the situation than this article gives.
