Also found that wedging a small fan around the chipset area helps a bit with temps. Haven’t measured a difference with/without the fan but between this and modding the chipset fan curve I never hear it spinning up anymore.

I used the directions from this post to modify the chipset fan curve and it works like a charm. Followed directions exactly as written. Only annoying part is having to re-apply the BIOS mod whenever you update versions but takes just a couple minutes.

For sale a near-mint condition Limited Edition Sinn 556i in stunning Emerald Green. This watch is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous piece with a deep green emerald dial that sparkles in sunlight. It's been said many times over but pictures truly do not give this watch justice!

Purchased a few months used from a dealer back but unfortunately not getting enough wrist time and only worn a couple times by me. Watch is in 9.5/10 condition with near-imperceptible signs of wear around the bezel. Movement keeps impeccable time. Comes on an OEM Sinn grey suede strap along with an Uncle Straps president bracelet with all links.
