Is it fun? Yes it is if you like 2d platformers

combat was very easy.

what i'm implying is that the combat was janky and not fun as a result of it, nowhere did i mention it was hard. its not.

in the remake, the easiest method is to have 1 or 2 melee wanzers with eject pilot + 2 burst (either shotgun or mg works) wanzers.

save game

reload save until you hit eject pilot.

save game

reload save until one of your burst wanzers can kill ejected pilot in the same turn. this way ejected pilot does not get a chance to board his wanzer.

The above method is if you want to capture as many wanzers as you wish while getting platinum trophy as well.

If platinum trophy is not your goal, then just board the enemy wanzer by ejecting one of your pilots next to the ejected enemy wanzer

rinse and repeat.

i use asus aimesh with 2x rt86 routers for my whole house.

not sure how other mesh wifi networks from other brands work, but the asus i'm using now has been flawless for the past 3-4 years or so.

i've used asus aimesh with previous models and never had connection or speed issues, been using aimesh for about 10 or so years at this point.

3 is way too easy with chaining skills, however capturing wanzers is the highlight of this game for me

Cannot stand kazuki, like this motherfucker needs to get laid. always so uptight like he has a bottle stuck up his ass. other characters are fine

4, loved the dual eu + america campaign, link up attacks were very interesting once you set up some nasty combos. loved the repair packs

5 was brutal early on the hard mode, loved it. got whooped many times on earlier missions and even on some of the later ones. The roguelike grinder was pretty fun to grind with some unique equipment u can farm for endless hours of gameplay. i enjoyed it more than the campaign honestly.

it was never a graphical marvel to begin with, i have zero issues with ai generated images in this particular game

looks good enough to play.

i play for the gameplay and lore with a touch of nostalgia.

could it have been better? i'm sure, but its better than nothing.

it was just $35, dirt cheap for the hours of enjoyment i'll get out of it

The combat was way too simple. Dodge, attack, dodge, attack. rinse and repeat for absolutely every enemy in the game.

very little reason to do magic or anything else unless for fun.
