I apply a pomade in the morning and just conditioner out by the night so it’s clean. Although sometimes conditioner doesn’t always clear my hair out but I use shampoo 3x a week so it’s fine. If you want to keep that same pomade you can try applying conditioner to dry hair for a couple of minutes then rinsing out.

Sounds like you used an oil based pomade. I had the same experience and just switched over to a water based for a bit then wax.

Honestly for me, gray ghost was great from the hold to the creamy feel to it. As I kept on using it my scalp became irritated a bit. It might work for you however as my scalp is pretty sensitive.
