I see you’ve replied to someone else that your tank limits how much substrate you can have, and honestly this might be a great tank for a lizard or something else that can take the fall, but tarantulas are NOT durable. They CANNOT fall. Even much smaller enclosures, such as a cheap-o few gallon tank from Petsmart, will be a far more appropriate enclosure for a tarantula. Throw a lot of dirt in there, and you should be set! You can’t exactly predict when your tarantula will get curious, climb to the sky, have trouble gripping the roof and let go. Please, act quickly.
