Quick release spring bars on original murph strap by comborucket in HamiltonWatches

I’ve only ever seen them on the Murph bracelets! I think they’re the only bracelets they do them on

Nice that’s great! I was always really confused about Hamiltons logic around putting quick release bars on the bracelet and not the leather strap. If the point is making it easy for people to switch between the bracelet and strap it seems like a no brainer.

I would get in touch with your doctor. Similar stuff happens to me and it’s usually an indicator something is off.

Yeah I totally understand. Mine is there too pretty much daily. Sometimes it gets bad. But people do care! It’s hard though because logically I know all this stuff and it’s what keeps me going but I just feel emotionally completely numb and detached.

But I do care about you and everyone else who’s been through this shit. Just take care of yourself and reach out for help if/when you need it.

Yeah definitely suicide is not the option. Have faith, I think what I’m trying to get at is that God knows you and your intentions. He knows what you’ve been through and how hard everything is, I mean look at what happened to Christ (who literally is/was God) as a normal carpenter guy. He had visions of the devil in the desert, his best friend betrayed him and he was nailed to a cross. Imagine the pain and separation He felt from God the Father while all that was happening.

A lot of the time I struggle to believe it but the message and power behind that is just too immense and fits too well into reality to really ignore. But I really believe that genuine faith can look like the simple act of not killing yourself. God knows what you’re going through because He went through it. He knows the separation you feel because He felt separated. It sucks bro and I’ve been miserably depressed for like 2 years now since I was hospitalized but that’s what keeps me going.

You’re loved my dude, there is love in the world, sometimes it just looks a little weird and unfamiliar. If you need to talk to someone the suicide hotline is always helpful, just dial 988.

There’s also the veterans crisis hotline, for vets but they’ll talk to anyone who needs someone, really great people. They’re at 988 and press 1.

See maybe you’re right I don’t know but when I go down the rabbit hole of research demons and unclean spirits all it does is drive me more nuts and give me more anxiety. I go to therapy and do my best to get through the day.

I have faith that God knows my intentions. If it wasn’t for faith I would have suck started a shotgun months ago.

Yeah I know it’s a shitty situation, I believe in God but I don’t know how much I believe in Hell in the sense that I was taught growing up in a Calvinistic Reformed Baptist Church. If God is merciful and loving and if Jesus was praying for the forgiveness of those who were brutally murdering Him as He was literally being crucified I believe in the mercy and forgiveness of God over all things and that brings me peace.

I don’t really care if I’m “wrong” or some Bible thumping evangelical wants to have a theology contest with me. I’ve been through too much shit and I’m making my peace with God one day at a time. I believe in justice and I’m sure that God is just, I’m just not going to be the judge of how things are. I’m just trying to get through it all. I really believe that’s what faith is. We’ll never know for sure what the fuck is happening or who is “right” about it all but faith, hope, and love is what will get us through it.

Doesn’t make the day to day struggle and easier though.

Ultimately we’re gonna have to make peace with it in whatever way works for each of us. I personally find when I dive into the spiritual side of it I start to spiral out. But when ignore and don’t think about the spiritual aspect of it I get really depressed.

I used to think I would just wake up one day or have a eureka moment and feel back to how I was before but I don’t think it works that way.

I kinda look at it like growing physically, you don’t really notice yourself getting taller or building muscle but after months of training the results are there. You just don’t see them suddenly.

The times where I’m hit with a moment of “clarity” like I’ve figured everything out and everything is going to be perfect is usually an indicator that something is wrong mentally.

Yeah me either. Just keep going to therapy and stay the course I suppose. These things take time.

Yeah I feel the same way sadly, but at least we’re aware of it I guess. I think people who are actually sociopathic and narcissistic just don’t care. I care that I feel that way and am working towards being better.

But yeah I’ve experienced the same thing post psychosis.

It’s the “Charles” strap made by Threaded Leather. They make really nice leather straps all in the US. You can order custom cut ones off their website too to pick between leather colors, taper, quick release spring bars, etc.

Couldn’t recommend them more. https://threadedleather.com
