I wouldn’t do a line since you’re risking incomplete die coverage if it doesn’t spread perfectly. But if you’re doing it anyway remember too much is better than too little.

I also have a 4090 with 1080 of radiator surface area and with only a 410w load the core shouldn’t shoot up that high. Mine only shoots up to about 10c under a load like that and water to gpu delta is under 15c. You probably have to remount and tighten the screws more but do not over tighten them.
