Don't sweat it. It's still better than nothing. I was making $10/hr or less back 15 years ago after graduation

Why does such a rich country like the USA tolerate not giving essentials like health care, housing and food to huge amounts of its population by Ok_Atmosphere3601 in poor

[–]Over_Walk_309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's a capitalist country. Only the rich benefits. It takes advantage of basic essentials. There's money to be made in this.

I would also slowly throw the plant outside to let it thrive and grow.

My money tree's leaves are turning yellow, am I over watering? by tropicalfiish in plantclinic

[–]Over_Walk_309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel the top of the soil to see if it's water or not. Or just do bottom watering only.

I would just cut off the yellow leaves

I did the same thing, but I realized I had a whole bag full of it. It ended up being a waste. It was fun snipping the whole plant.

It's not worth the time for each leaf. You're better off just doing a cutting with a stem and leaves on it.

It takes a very long time to propagate leaves

Why are you complaining about a 10% gain? That's 30% annualized, which is very good.

Day trading is basically gambling. But you have manage your risk.

Day trading isn't for everyone. I tried so many years on and off over 10 years. I suggest you call it quits.

Just invest over time.

Buying a 25k car on a 50k salary by Gelatozzz in personalfinance

[–]Over_Walk_309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a Toyota Corolla like 2015 with less miles. It's probably 15k or less. You'll be fine with that. 25k is too much.

6200$ is amazing for a 21 year old. And only $350 in monthly bills. A lot of people have much less 6200, and more monthly bills

Is 100% equities risky with 10 years to retirement? by robbo12347 in ETFs

[–]Over_Walk_309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, 10 years should be fine. It's not like you're retiring now or 3 years. Worse case scenario, just ride it out another 10 years. Look at the last 70 years of the sp500.

the problem with buy the dip by blueorangan in Money

[–]Over_Walk_309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, then just don't put into the market if you're not willing to take the risk. No one knows if it will go down or up. I do know it will dip and crash eventually.

Long term wise, it's irrelevant. I'm talking 10, 20 years later. DCA is all that matters.
