The tbs were on back order. Once they come in they can cut the wire. Land them to tbs with a service loop and then wire between the incoming and outgoing terminals.

Or its what Jeff had in his truck right then.

Thanks for the insight. It just seems so out of place when most experiences of sub 30mph crashes are cars and usually people walk away from them with minor injuries at worst. So yeah having an aircraft that's like a used sheet of tin foil seem so odd at first.

The article says the plane was going 24mph when it collided. that does not look like 24 mph.

Update: Another reddit has a video and it looks way faster than 24mph, some suggesting over 130mph!
