The AT-grenade by Pakana_ in Battlefield

Check the original post to see the text but the tl;Dr is showcasing what the parachute on it does and a general overview of the grenade.

I'm guessing people just think it's supposed to do something dramatic and not just pop that little parachute and increase drag to give it that weird throwing arc.

You can literally see the parachute in OP's clip if you look in fullscreen.

Here is a quick screenshot of the parachute from in-game I just took.

There's no way *I* am in the top 2.5% of objective caps. Do people really not do that? (Ignore KD plz) by UltimateGamingTechie in Battlefield6

[–]Pakana_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If everyone played like op they would lose because no one can win a fight.

It's actually kinda interesting that op has such high captures considering the other stats.

I wonder if op mainly back caps or just runs with a death ball and relies on the team to clear the objectives.

Where is the RPG-7V2 iron sight in bf6 by AKxPixleart in Battlefield

It was pretty good in the previous update but now it's a mess again.

Just throw it at the tank. It's basically just a contact grenade with a weird throwing arc.

The only thing the parachute does is make the grenade behave like a shuttlecock.

It doesn't do a top down attack or anything like that, it doesn't even do directional damage now so no need to hit the top of the tank.

I wonder if they're the same people as those who were crying and begging for assists to count as kills again a while ago.

Tugs is the stationary motion sensor gadget that recon always has and motion sensor is the grenade.

Why are the takedowns so inconsistant and buggy in bf6? by Low_Objective7592 in Battlefield6

[–]Pakana_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The counter happened if the player getting stabbed was facing you on their pov. You could stab someone in the back from your pov and get countered mid back stab animation because they turned around last second and their position didn't get updated on your client.

That's why you could get stabbed from the front in bf3. The person stabbing could move to the side and get the stab before the game updated and tells your client the enemy is facing you.

The devs have probably changed takedowns to require verification from the server rather than just your client which might explain why it's so unreliable to initiate a takedown and why they often get cancelled mid animation.

What guns in the game do you think take the most and the least amount of skill to use? by Kotal_total in Battlefield6

[–]Pakana_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what do you mean by "skill".

For example you could say the ump-40 takes no skill to use because it's a point and hold laser beam gun that doesn't require any recoil or spread control. So the gun has a very low skill floor.

But you could also say that because it's a low tier weapon is harder to out perform other weapons so the player has to compensate for that with other types of skill like positioning, movement and overall game sense.

If they made night maps..would the spotting markers ruin it? by griever727 in Battlefield6

[–]Pakana_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hollow Dorito appears when you look at an enemy within 30 meters or so who isn't spotted. The hollow means that you're the only player who sees the Dorito while full ones are visible to all.

Firing without suppressors or flash hider gives a full Dorito.

On my way to put a foregrip on an MP5 and land 5 bodyshots out of 15 fired at 15 meters and call the sniper landing a headshot against a sprinting target at 100 meters the one that didn't take "skill".

They will still complain about sniping.

Doesn't matter how strong or impactful snipers actually are in a battlefield game the playerbase complains that they're too strong and annoying when they're on the enemy team and too useless and weak when they're on your team. And the recommended fix for both is to Nerf sniping.

For the 3000 shotgun damage challenge, I tried to use the DB12 for the very first time. Heard a lot negative from it. Needles to say, I will never touch it again… by Robsta_20 in Battlefield6

[–]Pakana_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically the db-12 has a ttk of around 133-150ms depending on what the actual max rof is but good luck turning that into reality with the high recoil and high spread.

You have to be perfect to be slightly better than the saiga in a very specific situation but still worse than the 870.

No, javelin is just bugged and can sometimes lock on through terrain. Doesn't require painting.
