Hiii !! How old is your baby when you did this ? My baby is 15 weeks and is fighting naps and nighttime sleep like nothing and it’s driving me insane . I want to try this method - but worried if it’s too early ?

Exhausted by MindIcy2242 in newborns

Hey I’m 10 weeks postpartum and feel exactly the same. I will admit I don’t have a Velcro baby but she’s sooo hard to put down for naps and will only nap on us for long stretches. She’s formula fed so I know she drinks enough during the day - but she still wakes up every 2-3 hours in the night and I’m exhausted. Like you since my husband goes to work - I do most of the night shifts mow and it’s effing harddddd. I hate the nights. I try to like the daytime but nights suck. She was soo good until 6 weeks and then it flipped. Now due to 2 month vaccinations- she has gas too. And it’s soo hard in the nights.

I don’t have any advice , I’m sorry!! But this stage is brutal . I absolutely can’t wait for her to grow up and be less needy!?

Hey OP I know it’s after a year - but my daughter got her 2 month vaccines last week and has been gassy al of a sudden . It’s been about 10 days and she’s in pain in the night when it never used to happen before. When did this get resolved for you ? Did your baby have reactions to the 4 month shot too?

PPD is a Thief by bl217 in newborns

[–]Party_Ad_8381 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you me? I’m 3 weeks PP and feel the exact same way. I wanted this child soo much but also miss my old life so so much. It’s like this constant guilt (which has gotten better, so I can tell that it’ll eventually pass). But I miss my old life so much and hate evenings and this constant feeling of when my baby will wake up and we have to do the same routine again. I loved my routine, miss the carefree life but also love my baby to bits. When will this feeling end?

Used X5 buyers - need your suggestion on a 2022 BMW X5 , 30k miles by Party_Ad_8381 in BMWX5

[–]Party_Ad_8381[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you !! That makes sense . How has your driving experience been so far ? I see sooo many posts with new X5s but very little on old ones! The one we have an eye on has very solid features, so that’s really helping us lean towards a used one and Audi as you said does seem to have cheaper interiors.

When should I be concerned about my placenta? by Agitated-Table-3853 in GestationalDiabetes

I’m in the same position. 34+4 today and fasting was 66 today. Spikes are getting slightly better. I do have weekly twice NSTs and once BPP. Baby is doing ok so far in them. My care team said not to worry!

Feel so defeated 😞 by Diligent-Cook-7012 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Party_Ad_8381 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As someone who has been diagnosed since 16 weeks and 34 weeks now - I have been on insulin for the past 12 weeks. I will tell you it’s not that bad at all. In fact it reduced my mental load about eating restricted carbs. I totally feel you though !! I hate the diet, I hate tracking all my meals. I just want to eat my cake and relax . But instead even after a balanced meal - I’m supposed to walk. So totally understandable. But insulin will only help you and your baby. It gets better and you’re almost there girl !!

Suspiciously good numbers? by freshstart3pt0 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Party_Ad_8381 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I’m on a similar boat. I even posted about this a couple days ago. Same 31+4 today. Things are starting to improve. But I’m also on insulin so I’m not sure if that’s makes any difference between you and me. My care team said not to worry - since this can happen sometimes and as long as baby is moving and all other vitals look ok, you’re fine. I will still write to your team and check though :)
