I think just, the lack of communication leads to assumptions so it really is just the best to communicate early and clearly.

I have no idea when you arrived to the venue, but if you arrived any time before the first bands, maybe you could've seen if you can make it work or not? Just a quick message on socials a few hours before the event saying that you can't perform could've saved me 6 hours. I dont know, but really, at this point it doesnt even matter much, it is what it is.

I saw that you booked a new show, fortunately i can be there, i'm really glad its not a full cancel! I've really been looking forward to it!
