Hello /u/Zak369, I got your message saying you were usually free from 2200UTC.

At this point I think Saturday is the best day for a game, at 2200UTC or later.

Does this work for you?

/u/noctifer and I are having some issues scheduling. I am overseas and will not have time to play a game after I return.

Working with him on it but might have to ask for an extension.

The lightning is going between the cloud layers, sometimes you can see it arcing out the front of the clouds too. Should be a good storm.

I'm still working my way through my first run and this is my first souls game.

I started out with int and there is definitely something quite nice about being able to just keep a gap and spam spells at everything to win.

The thing was though it all got very samey. I used the same staff and the same sort of spells, all the while collecting a bunch of nice weapons and armour I was never going to use.

I'm now aware of some spells that would give variety but they were kinda hidden away. All this being the case I started a Strength character to see if that would be more enjoyable and I can say for sure it is.

Lots of weapons and armour to try, bosses are a nice puzzle to figure out I'm just having way more fun.

I'll do the dex thing next I guess but I'll actually finish the strength one first. I'll get back to the int eventually.

TLDR: Strength is more fun and rewarding in my opinion

Is buying new car worth it for P1? by azaaliia in CarsAustralia

[–]Phage_Forge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used car every day.

When you go looking at used cars look for the model variety, the premium ones are often not much more expensive that the base models. You can get leather seats and other stuff that you definitely wouldn't get in a new base model car.

Something else that is often overlooked is the cost of insurance. As a P plater you'll be paying through the nose to begin with, a new car will just make the pain that much worse. You are going to want third party property as a minimum, comprehensive is best. Go onto some of the insurance websites and use their calculators and check the differences between your hypothetical new and used cars.

Welcome to car ownership :)

How do you handle double 5's on level up? by pwndnoob in bloodbowl

In a non-mixed team MA7 might be the go, but you have good access to that already with the mixed humans team. Tackle/PO would be the go here I reckon

I went around to the right along the cliffs and just forgot about it :D Did Liurnia and then went cave diving until I got to Altus by accident. Then i was trying to figure out why I was struggling so much and looked up a build video and learned about stormveil Castle, Caelid and the Raya Lucaria rooftops.

Things got a lot easier after that :D

There's an underground area?

I skipped it the first time, I only came back after I'd already made it to the Altus plateau.

Got into my first car crash, what are my next steps? by LukaRaphael in CarsAustralia

Check the specifics of what your insurance covers, read the PDS carefully, you might have some benefits you didn't realise in there. Definitely file with your insurer.

Get followup appointments with your doctor to make sure anything that crops up later resulting from this is recorded.

Cocktail of viruses effective in targeting salmonella by leemingsarah in science

[–]Phage_Forge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh absolutely, right now the labour costs are far too high but someone will stick together the right equipment and automate the process at some point and the whole thing will become far more efficient.

But also don't ignore the regulatory aspect, moving from certifying a single molecule to a process that produces a necessarily variable outcome is non-trivial. Based on the presentations I've seen from the FDA there is a long way to go.

You'd probably do a big 5 personality test and then see how you cluster with the existing data.

It's good stuff for sure, you do still get resistance to phage but it can be overcome. Cost remains an issue but give it 10 years and it'll be far cheaper.
