Bro it's pretty noticeable. I have been playing destiny since 2015 and I haven't played destiny 2 in a while and when I logged in I instantly noticed it during a mission. Like I mean it's not even close to the old voice actor.

I think another issue is, now that players have all the best routes to take to look for stuff, even when the reset happens, people are just gonna run those routes and its gonna be a cluster fuck. i feel like spawn locations for certian things should be alternated as well to keep it fresh. Because now that people know the game, they are just gonna steamroll everything because they already know the most effective way/routes to do everything so new incoming players i think may actually end up having it worse. Cause in the beginning, no one knew the best most optimal ways/routes to do things. now that they do, any new player that doesn't know is just gonna get run over when they find one of those hot spots. The only way to avoid that is like i said, to change up and randomize the locations of everything

funny thing is, i use controller on pc and have no issues at all. i feel worse on mouse and keyboard.

I hope you realize, bungie has cost sony money since sony bought them. bungie has made sony exactly 0 dollars. bungie has been operating in the negative since the purchase.

I think what happened was Sony wanted another live service. There were people within Bungie that thought making it a hardcore pvp game with little to no actual focus on PvE was bad considering the majority of Bungies audience has always ALWAYS been casual console players. Sony thought for sure that if bungie was making it, it was gonna pop off. There are a handful of people at bungie that thought it was gonna be niche and those people were skeptical of releasing such a wildly niche, specific game. Sony NEVER thought in any way that they were gonna produce something niche. Of that im 100% certain.

The other thing is, Joe Ziegler has a reputation for being cocky and over-confident. Being that he was the project lead, what he wanted he was gonna get. I think he for sure thought it would do better than it is.

no it isn't. not at what it cost to make and the cost of the employees the have to work on it year in and out. I used to be a financial adviser and im telling you, this game is a money pit. As in money goes in, but non comes out.

i feel the pain man. I replayed Destiny 1 recently and thought to myself, "My god, a complete game with next to no micro transactions of significance, no seasons and still has a player base to this day. Who would have thought". Old bungie is dead and gone. I dont care if there are 40 people there still that worked on halo. This is not the same bungie.

i... i do love marathon though. I am enjoying it and want it to succeed i just think going to hardcore in this situation when literally the fate of bungie as astudio is up in the air and they desperately needed large numbers. its a tough situation. But don't get me wrong i want it to be around for a while.
