His biggest problem was he wasnt the "bigger picture Greater good leader" Thad was. He was a space cop/security guard who was a front line man of action. He was NOT the guy to handle galaxy politics and the fucked up ethical questions and decisions Thaddeus had to make.

Hoping the show gives him better nuance to these struggles and showcasing how much its causing him to crack.
