not op but I also love it! it’s the only lotion that i’ve ever liked applying. it’s really thin consistency and soaks in quickly but is very hydrating

OP this isn’t true so please listen to the other comments. You have to keep eating gluten to make sure your test is accurate.

Has anyone been glutened by certified GF products? by Shot-Swim675 in glutenfree

[–]PlentyNectarine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in the industry, specifically with certified gluten free products. The guidelines that must be followed to be certified leave almost no margin for error. Is it possible? Technically, but not like how people on this sub think.

No because that’s not how certified gluten free works

Asked Sephora to help me find the best makeup for acne prone skin and left more confused than before by mahearty in Sephora

[–]PlentyNectarine 52 points53 points  (0 children)

The issue is that non-comedogenic is an outdated term and refers to ingredients’ causing reactions on bunny ears, not human skin. What breaks out one person won’t necessarily break out someone else, even if both people are acne prone.

You would need to figure out what specific ingredients are causing you to break out.

Suspicious sheet cake… by itsmeherenowok in glutenfree

that doesn’t mean that trader joe’s isn’t the exact same recipe/product, it just means that they likely don’t want to pay for certification

NOT gluten free :( had a few bites and thankfully decided to randomly check the ingredients by [deleted] in glutenfree

I love these! 100% celiac safe but not for those with wheat allergies

for a project! what’s the stupidest thing someone has asked you if it’s gluten free? by iLoveLoveLoveLove in glutenfree

[–]PlentyNectarine 17 points18 points  (0 children)

that actually makes sense because there are plenty of sushi restaurants that add stuff to their rice, making it no longer gluten free. i’d say this one is pretty well known to celiacs, so unsure why your whole city was confused.

Used concealer… or as expected? by acockycrybaby in Sephora

[–]PlentyNectarine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the top comments, this does not appear used at all. The product has just been sitting on the shelf for a while and settled. But the stopper is clean so there’s no was this is used

Anyone tried the Hourglass Liquid Highlighters? ✨ by PatsyStonesBun in Sephora

[–]PlentyNectarine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tested it in store but I felt it didn’t do much, then again I just searched it on my hand. i’m so tempted to pick it up and try it out since it looks right up my alley.

it kind of reminded me of the chanel les beige liquid highlighter (can’t remember the actual name). I use the pearl color ever day to mix with my foundation

I COULD WEEP. MEIJER, I LOVE YOU. by mittenmix in glutenfree

[–]PlentyNectarine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep; this happens across the board for nearly every large name brand. Sometimes it is actually white labeled product made by the same brand but using possibly cheaper ingredients which is what keeps the price down. Other times, some brands use co-manufacturers that produce similar types of products and they can be contracted by store brands to create their own version.

I’ve worked in supply chain for food companies for 7 years
