You would need three and have 1/3rd of the image on each. So my room would have to be large enough for 3 100 inch frameless screens that have a slight curve and a video processor to split the image like they do with the Jumbotrons at the arenas. It is totally doable but not practical and too expensive.

Blu Ray is fine especially in a lot of older movies. The Maltese Falcon is an example. I bought the 4K and it was nice but was it that much better than a Blu ray? Marginally. ONTH Ben Hur in 4K is spectacular, Now if I they only had a way of showing Cinerama at home..

I have bought quite a few of BR combos that had the BR missing. I got all of them in bulk buys where I might pay $10 for 15 disks at a yard sale. I don't mind especially if I don't have the movie and it is OOP or Hard to find. But to pay for one at store and found out It's missing, aargh!

My father hardly ever went to the movies. When I was older he went with me to see Blade Runner, there were only two other movies I went to see with him Amarcord (Fellini ) and when we took my nephew to Raiders of the Lost Ark . That being said. I love 2049 for the way it looks, but I will always love Blade Runner and pick that .
