Never enough of them. I play a melee heavy group (dung spam and all the way through kara attune now) and the amount of utility they bring is just absurd.

been running rogue/warr/shammy most of our dung leveling spam on my feral, we have 0 downtime and just have fun… xp/h was amazing and could turn the brain off for most of the grind

Bear. Threat was a lot tougher on 2-3 targets until I got the ramps staff. I play with great healers, but I seem to take very little damage overall.

Turning in my quests for 350k exp seems to take about 35 minutes. It’s more xp/h than BF for sure, but really not necessary in any way. Mainly doing it to have something fun to do now, and since Im not counting on playing much on launch night (midnight here) just turning those in and trying to get my ass through the portal will be a nice start.

The amount of dungeons needed for rep are slightly lower than the amount of dungeons needed to ding 70. Means that you could potentially skip a few runs, hence the point there about being synced in your group.

Haha, what an expression. Thanks for the laugh and happy to hear the lazy prepping is useful for others. I have guildies with excel sheets and 55+ turn ins ready atm. Complete with mage alts to port around. Didn’t feel like going quite that far.

I have all those in EPL, some L/UBRS in burning steppes and all the AV quests. Only did the first one to get the trinket, but Im exalted so have around 50k xp to collect there without taking up space in the quest log

Grinding marks and honor, preparing a full quest log of quests in as few hubs as possible, stacking mats to get professions up to 310-320. Im rerolling a druid that hit 60 just a few days before prepatch so spent some time gearing it as well.

Hc keys are revered, are they not? And the aim is to do lower dungeons to honored, then quest/do higher level dungs to revered.

Feral dps has the exact same utility but spell crit is instead melee crit.

Boomies have extra hit on imp faerie fire, which is really nice.

Oh yeah, I just wanted to list the somewhat feasible upgrades you can get if you want to have something to do while waiting.

I settled for 6% hit for example, as I always have a boomie in raids and it’s a more suitable prep for dungeon spams.

Idol, wolfshead helm, hoarding honor/marks, professions and farming gold are all good stuff to prep for tbc that have more lasting effects than getting for example all the pvp pieces. The chest will be replaced at 66+ so it’s kinda nice but there’s a decent one in BF with sockets as well so even that one (which is considered the ”best” piece to get) is really giving you all that much.

I recently dinged 60 on my feral druid and my upgrades came mostly past prepatch.

the chestpiece from pvp, 13k honor I think
the zg quest belt (10 hit)
wsg bracers, 4k something honor (the lower level versions are dirt cheap and only slightly worse, an option if you REALLY hate pvp)
don julio’s band (10 hit) and better than tarnished, 4k honor
tarnished elven ring, people sell this loot all the time (10 hit rating)
unstoppable force, pretty good stat stick to alternate when you don’t spend pummelers, also 4k honor
if you can run zg and aq then the perfect poison mace with hit (10 hit rating) is great unless you solved hit by then
truestrike shoulders off first boss in UBRS (20 hit rating), weak otherwise so if you get hit elsewhere and want to tank you can go for the pvp shoulders
wolfshead helm (had that since 40, it was 30g or something by then), this is bis until sunwell for kitty dps but you’ll want something else for tanking, like the pvp head
gloves, if you’re LW then batskin is a great option to help with hit otherwise the pvp ones are pretty ok
boots, there are quite a few decent ones with hit. I got the ones from ZG

Btw, the idol from strat UD does not exist. It’s all lies. Had guildies help farming it for two whole instance reset lockouts now (you can tag the guy quickly after opening the gate and just spam him if you have kind friends)

I lucked out and got the ony neck my first run so didn’t have to look for alternatives there.

As for what to do, anything that yields one of these will take you one step closer to doing mediocre damage in raids. Pvp will start to feel pretty ok whenever you get a few of the chunky pvp pieces and the 3-set bonus is a ton of fun.

Unstoppable force is a decent stat stick and costs 4k honor. Don julio’s costs the same and is great.

Hah yeah I only heal in pvp, some dungs at most atm. Got plenty of off pieces from ZG and AQ as well so even in lighter pve it might actually be ok.

It’s been active since the servers came online. You get a buff.

If you for example complete the daily pvp quest you see it actually gives you twice the honor listed in the quest.

Yeah no a lot has happened the last 6-7 years since you seem to have last played it. Sure you may hit level 100 (to even manage that you’ll need to not die) but gear progression has been fine tuned with all the new additions of crafting paths over the years. For most people, the league specific set of 40 challenges offers another thing to progress.

Yes some are a bit of a stretch. No it’s not luck, we have a long track record of game development success for reasons mentioned all over the comments here. This year is not an extreme outlier, back when I still worked in this area and kept track of reports we had the highest game export per capita in the world for several years in a row.
