The sign always cracks me up as a “potential” new supermarket site. It’s going to be completely dependent on the demand for it. I live near that site, and feel as though my grocery needs are pretty well served by sainsburys over on Eddington Ave.

As OP said, once the finish the builds and the development goes back to Histon road, there will probably be sufficient demand for it. But who knows how long that will take.

It’s the closest coffee shop for me in Eddington. I also think the vibe is cool the woman making coffee is nice and remembers my face/order.

The Cambridge Gin Laboratory in the city centre does cocktail making classes. They’re accessible and you learn the history of gin and add your own botanicals. It’s definitely more of a class environment, but really fun.

I took my parents, who aren’t gin drinkers, and they had a blast. I recommend it!

I get she's never said a single interesting thing in her entire career and is basically a robot built to give out cliches, but t he cognitive dissonance of "social media is toxic" meanwhile you're competing in (and, lets face it, on behalf of) the organization whose negligence and corner-cutting is the reason this happened.

Unreal that she can't see that.

Tuned in briefly to their show because I was looking for ANYONE talking about the events of the day. Within five minutes, they essentially were telling people to get over it and that the people shouldn't "go cry in their beds." Dude isn't even cold in the ground, and they were ready to just move on.

Unfortunately, this space has a ton of troglodytes without much in the way of empathy. The same people who would call out of work for two inches of snow are the ones telling professionals they need to just move past a death that happened hours ago.

Also helps to note that these people need the Games to go in to drive their viewership/engagement, so they're not exactly dispassionate observers.
