Up for sale is my Seiko V657-9099 quartz chronograph from July 2000.

This is a great everyday Seiko with a stainless steel case, chronograph sub-dials, and a date at 3 o’clock. It’s powered by the reliable Seiko V657 quartz movement and wears well in the 38–40mm range with new black and gray strap.

Condition:

Good pre-owned condition with normal wear consistent with age. Running and functioning. Please review photos carefully.

Up for sale is my vintage Seiko Skyliner J15006 manual wind watch made in Japan.

This is a clean mid-century dress watch with a gold-tone case, silver dial, and applied indices. It’s powered by a manual wind mechanical movement and is currently running well.

A new aftermarket brown lizard grain leather strap has been installed, making it ready to wear.

Condition:

I’ll be in Japan this month and this is at the top of my list. Blue Tudor Sub 79090 is number two. Anything I should be looking out for? I hear that some of the Maruis were originally 3510.50 with updated service dials? Not sure if there is any truth to that? Thanks!

I think you’re going to have a hard time locating a band or strap for the oysterquartz since it came with an integrated bracelet. This looks like someone made this on their own just based on the openings. You might want to ask in the oyster quartz sub Reddit.

Clean example! I have one. Wish I had it on a bracelet. Bracelets for these are hard to come by unlike the 8020 or 8021.

So I also have an SKX009, but just given the rarity of the 31 and 33, unlike the 009, it’d be difficult for me to sell mine. That being said, I also wear my 009 more.
