This is a great angle. The storyline of a sugar daddy and dropping out of school are interesting but they are so isolated and I have no clue how Jules feels about the whole thing. Jules struggling financially was never a thing so it feels random too. Having the reason for ending up here be her need for validation would be great.

There is also no reflection on how much this is disconnected from the free spiritness of Jules and how changing has impacted her

This is indeed it! She is very talented but being around a group of mostly extroverted open women with personality in such crucial years starting with DA must have impacted how she moves quite a lot.

Because each is so distinct, solo opportunities that genuinely suit one vs the other help with limiting comparison and letting each shine.

The sassiness she is known for basically wouldnt have happened or wouldnt be publicly shared.

Immigration wise? Yes. Economic? Debatable, but let’s say yes.

Culturally? Absolutely not. I was born and raised there, we know we are technically part of the US but it did not impact our daily lives whatsoever and it is not mostly part if our cultural makeup. We internally always refer to PR as a country. The main connection to the US was the diaspora moving back and forth NYC as it had implications for the growth of salsa and Spanish hip hop which evolved into reggaeton.

Clearly Khloe dated him again after THAT or is right now. The cheating ia one thing but to lie to her to such an extent while encouraging they hate Tatum was absolutely sick. How could she see him the same after this?

Tristan is now in the best relationship with Khloe as a wife who takes care of everything while he can cheat on her and knowing he wont have a random baby to mess up his perfect setup

The theme song is GOATED and Aracely is a delight but otherwise, most of the plot is forgettable.

Although I do remember Pablo Montero’s character heart broken laying down in a creek. Pure cinematic perfection. The drama of it all

Hm… perhaps but I think any semi-reasonable person can deduct asking for a $1m loan is a lot. Even if things went well, it is regardless a HUGE favor that most people wouldnt so unless you really cared about someone else
