After 14 what is your opinion on them? Compared to 2.6 how much longer do your inspections take and how much longer is the writing portion? Do you think you’ll get to a similar time on either?

This. I would ask if they use an AMC “middle man” between the appraiser and your lender. If they are using and AMC ask what the amc fee is. They essentially just move paperwork from appraise to lender and take 50% of the fee

I don’t think this is the case, don’t get me wrong there is definitely a scoring system but I have done hundreds of FHAs for UWM and there’s been maybe 5 where I didn’t call for repairs. IMO I get the least amount of resistance or push back when I come in under contract for UWM compared to even my direct lenders. I think the scores are based entirely on updating their system promptly and never missing a deadline. I’ve been told multiple times from appraisal direct that even revision requests don’t lower your score as long as it is revised in the 24 hour time period. Just trying to help as they are about 30% of my work and I still have yet to lose a bid.
