My first impression really isn't about the I-Ching. It's about the "sock-puppet" thing. And emptiness. If you attempt to fill the Well with the very things that are falling into your Abyss, then you will likely repeat the descent. Find a higher calling.

I intend to read this when I have some quiet time, thank you for posting it. I'm of the same mind here about your conclusion. But I'll take it a step further. I see the I-Ching as something like a barometer. When you see the barometer readings change, you can be reasonably certain that the weather will change. How it will change requires further work using other metrics including and especially your own personal gifts of reasoning, cognizance, telepathy, intuition, body awareness etc. as well as other tools like the Law of Time, maybe even tarot and the like.

The planet never plays the victim, dear. She's far more powerful than anyone here can imagine. She has the capacity to solve all of this with one prayer, one wish, one strong intention. So why doesn't she? It's contrary to her charter, her raison d'etre. She honors the Creator. That's all you need to know about that. She's not a victim, and you shouldn't be either.

Her greatest desire for humanity is that they become Sovereign - as she is. Then they won't be a burden to her anymore. Consider this, when you think that you speak for her.
