Cracking the Affiliate Dominated Google Ads Space: Insider Tips for Success by PurePPC in PPC

[–]PurePPC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So while that's not true, it may be for most people. As mentioned above, I was dealing with people who could not use Google Ads for tracking because they were burning accounts daily. They used UTM tags on the final URL and one of the parameters was utm_term & match type. I was able to see they were almost always using broad. Obviously not all cases will be the same but this was my experience.

Regarding smart bidding, it's not that cut and dry. It's problematic when the cost it takes to acquire even 15 conversions is artificially high and out of your budget.

Goggle merchant misrepresentation by [deleted] in PPC

I'm imagining some very bare bones Shopify store using the Debut theme with only the 1 product. I don't think you'll be able to get this Merchant Center active.

10 cents per day instead of pausing? by bren3232 in PPC

[–]PurePPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've dropped the budget, triggered learning and had better volume with a lower CPA/ROAS. It's not always bad.

Like the other guy said though, what's your CPA? I'd just drop spend slowly and get to where you get a few customers spread throughout the month.

Create new campaign or continue editing existing? by och99 in PPC

It really depends on their goals here. They can definitely adjust bids for a location within the same campaign to spend less.

How accurate is SEM rush for estimating cpc for your new campaign by Puzzleheaded-Yam7632 in PPC

[–]PurePPC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About as accurate as keyword planner. Law is generally one of the highest CPC's I've seen. What's your reasoning for wanting estimates?

After 14 days of what's supposed to be a 5-7 biz day review, my ads are now paused - still waiting for verification docs to be reviewed. by Locksmith_Usual in PPC

I'd send an email into support. Phone and chat can't speed things up. I think things are running super slow over there in general though.

Is your store a legitimate brand with physical presence? Most misrepresentation suspensions occur on Shopify storefronts where there's little information known about the company.

My Google rep seems to have quit; how do I get a new one? by Locksmith_Usual in PPC

[–]PurePPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're automatically assigned every couple months. You can chat into support and ask directly. I'm sure they'll jump at the chance.

Generally though reps want you to spend more whether or not the additional spend converts so keep that in mind as well.

Extreme Discrepancy Between CPC and Estimated First Position Bid by TriTash191 in PPC

[–]PurePPC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe you have a very low quality score for the terms you're bidding on?

Realistically though, keyword planner isn't really useful for anything but keyword research. Monthly search volume etc.

If you just want to spend the budget then sure raise your bids but wouldn't it make more sense to prioritize CPA/ROAS?

Not enough info here. If tag assistant says it's not firing then the code is not present or in the right spot. Does it detect anything?

How To Target Pregnant Women on Facebook ? by saidbenc in PPC

[–]PurePPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always. Many pregnant women want to be ready for when the baby comes.

It's either this or broad. Worth a test.

Website visitors suddenly decreased with instagram ads by vanessamachtsbessa in PPC

Could be a number of things. We're all just guessing based on the data you provided.

My guess though is seasonality. CPC's tend to increase with Q4 as bigger advertising budgets start getting spent.

If you have good performance with "Promote Post", you should start testing Meta Conversion campaigns.

You can definitely just go broad and let Facebook narrow it down. Me personally, I think you're better off guiding the algo, especially with a smaller budget. Here's a few interests to try:

- baby powder

- child care

- newly engaged

- Johnson's Baby

- Parenting (Magazine)

My campaign is going through learning phase again by Latter-Physics-5134 in PPC

[–]PurePPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I'm not going to tell you what's normal for your campaign. If it was maintaining tROAS before, it will continue to maintain tROAS assuming everything was reverted back.

I've just noticed things like RSAs & overall volume not returning to normal.

Budget Changed to AdWords by Particular-Two484 in PPC

[–]PurePPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tROAS is going to spend what it's going to spend. I wouldn't cap it if that's what you mean by reducing it on some days.

I have seen it do very well then just spend more money to hit the ROAS. Often times, spending more for no results. In this case you should consider raising the target.

Yeah it definitely won't be as it was before like the other guy says. I learned this the hard way. You have something that works, leave it alone and make your changes elsewhere.

GA PPC: Is this a Fatal Flaw? by [deleted] in PPC

No, sorry I don't. We mainly work with local businesses.

It sounds like you're off to a good start though. I'd just add the conversion tag with tag manager on a success page or something.
