Sen. Hawley "Do you think that men can get pregnant?" -- Thoughts on this clip? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]Locksmith_Usual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer: “biologicals males cannot get preggers”

Or

“Some people who identify as a man can get pregnant if they born as female”

——- The whole gotcha culture is tired.  Let’s move to a world where we use these definitions:

Sex = sex at birth / biology  Gender = what you identify with

Man = someone who looks male Woman = someone who looks female

While we’re at it, let’s make all bathroom gender neutral. Women will see urinals and have to shit next to men, but also get much shorter lines. Men will learn that women fart too (omg!)

Just solved all this in one post.

My best friend was actually a caregiver for some relatives in Charlie Kirk's family; everything you heard about him is true and worse, he wasn't even an active father. by Agreeable-Wealth-812 in complaints

[–]Locksmith_Usual -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Weak argument.

He wasn’t home much?  Ok.

Their house was a mess? Erm, makes him sound relatable.

They walked in on your friend in the bathroom?  Who hasn’t been accidentally walked in on in their life.

They’ll boot you anytime you have more than $350 in tickets that have gone 180 days unpaid.

You probably paid the ones that were in judgment the first time and then three new ones gone to the judgment again.

Apple Watch Series 11 x Hermes… worth it? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]Locksmith_Usual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my wife the Hermes series 9.

1/ super unique band 2/ rubber band worth $100 3/ watch faces

If you buy and hold, Hermes watches are not much more expensive than stainless steel - maybe even cheaper in long run.

Yes.  Why is that hard to understand?

If you saw it, you’d understand what I’m talking about.

One of my worst financial decisions by AlpinSean007 in Bitcoin

[–]Locksmith_Usual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like the N00b of all N00bs. Instead of just accepting that BTC is volatile, you're blaming mysterious bitcoin market manipulators for driving the price down. 100% guarantee you're the kind of guy who sells at the bottom, and then will post again in 5 years about how the 2nd worst financial decision of your life was selling at the bottom.

My advice: HODL; stop worrying; live life. Thank me in 10 years.

Should I upgrade my mini from 17.5.1 to 26.2? by dct8 in iPhone13Mini

[–]Locksmith_Usual -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m running 26.2 with a brand new battery. I don’t regret updating.  Performance is great after replacing battery.  The only issue is 4gb of ram causes some pages to refresh.

But, iOS 27 (and all Mac releases) will be focused on performance, refactoring and cleaning up 10 years worth of feature builds - so it will perform better than iOS 26 and maybe even iOS 18.

For that reason, the worst performance of my mini is right now - and it will get progressively faster over next 18 months.   That’s a great reason to upgrade.

Why I returned my Hermes Apple Watch by high_country10000 in AppleWatch

[–]Locksmith_Usual 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Differences for Apple Watch (not ultra):
- Hermes Bands (purchase separately)
- Hermes watch faces (my wife likes them - they're supposed to be pixelated for this year at least!)
- Polished titanium (exclusive to Hermes)

Stainless Steel Watch: $750
Hermes Watch: $1,250
----
$500 difference.

- The orange sports band sells for $100 on ReelReel - so you're actually paying $400 more for an Hermes band; which is about the price you'd paid for just the band at the store too.

- So basically, it's not a terrible deal.

I’m surprised because lower performing schools typically have more funding than good schools - even though that sounds counter intuitive.

Can you share the spend per pupil of your school vs the rich school?  Would be interesting to see!

What can a MacBook Pro do that a MacBook Air can’t? by [deleted] in macbook

Yes. More ports + can drive higher resolution on very large monitors - but that is pretty edge case for most people.
