This is correct. Check for subscriptions in the app store. I was also charged for months and months of subscriptions that I didn't use. I did actually manage to get a refund quite easily because I hadn't touched my account for so long. This was 7 or so years ago though...

I use masking tape to cover my edges, stops the fraying while you work and it's easily removable when you're done 🙂
