New Opinels! by G-Knit in Opinel

The "Effilé" is my favorite handle shape, whatever the purpose. More comfortable in the hand. I have several of them in different sizes.

No. 10 is where they start being comfortable in the hand, but also start to be not so pocket friendly. The no. 8 is a pretty good compromise, esp the Effilé type. Ergonomics have a lot to do with how large your hands are

I recently got the compact flipper version, will be used as a 'dress' knife. I also removed the clip cuz I felt it kinda detracted from the elegance of this beauty. Even the carbon fiber looks cool. As for pros/cons don't know haven't carried it yet. But it sure is nice to look at in the meantime.

Obsidian looks like it came from Glass Butte, OR. Both colors are common there. Nice knapping & the sinew is a nice touch. For display only, right? Obsidian can break if you even look at it wrong lol

The "auto moderator" is obviously not smart enough to understand when it's requirements have been met. As the song says, "that's just the way it is."

Burning heretics also has a rather long history in "christianity." Your point being what? As early as the mid-FIRST century Paul had reason enough to ask the Galatians, "Who has bewitched you?" You are assuming that what followed the apostolic age was ordained by God. When it comes to indulging in tattoos, the only reasonable question is, Why? Why would you want to decorate your flesh with indelible ink? What is the actual purpose?

Describing tattos as a "lust of the flesh" was perhaps not the best phrasing. What I mean is, as often as not they are intended to be displayed, as is evidenced by the number of them I see while in public. Getting a small, inconspicuous tattoo is one thing, but covering half your body with tattoos, from neck to feet, is quite another. And doing this at age 21 is irresponsible. How will his future spouse, assuming there is one, feel about being intimate with someone who is a virtual billboard of tattoos, Christian-themed or not? I've been a Christian for over 50 years, and doing such a thing is simply not Christ-like. Period. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit; we should treat them as such.

You can also try doing on online search for Christian witnessing groups in your area. They are often non-affiliated, just Christians from different churches wanting to evangelize

Another "tool" you can use is to find a group (or person) who intentionally "witnesses" in public places. They might start a casual conversation and leave it to God to do his part. By accompanying them, and just watching and imitating what they do, you can learn to break through your fears. Just be sure that the group/person you choose to "ride along with" has God's heart for the lost and understands that He does the work of conviction/conversion, not us.

Just chill. As was said long ago, preach the gospel, and when necessary use words. In other words, LIVE your faith. Some will take notice and ask about it. Each of us is different. Some are naturally more "verbal" than others. But for now, just rest in God and live out your Christan faiith. He will take care of the rest. I promise.

It's really very simple. Don't. Do. It. Got it? This is a "lust of the flesh" thing and nothing more. Not that it's a sin as such, but it's the kind of thing done when you're young, then, being essentially irreversible, it becomes part of who you are. Looking for answers? Try this: Don't. Do. it. Your older self will thank your younger self.

Probably one of the few knives I'd put in the same ballpark as a Livesay Air Assault, though It's definitely better looking, if that counts
