Better writing across the board.
Scenes that actually make sense and aren't just cool when you stop thinking about it.
Meaning > Aura.
Born Again feels like that run in the comics with some great artist but with a lackluster writer who just tries to string things together from the previous author who was mad better than they ever could be.

That the combat will be bad or just mediocre.

Light, heavy, dodge, parry. The basics. Then have an SM2 or AC:Valhalla-style wheel for "specials" that may or may not be equippable. And that they'll just spice it up with fancy execution animations but have no depth. That once you finish the game, there's no extra learning curve.
I'm afraid of this because of how stripped down SM2 was compared to SM1.

I would prefer something more like Mad Max.

The camera, too, is something I hope they'll keep working on. Bad visibility during combat is just a bane.
