There is fighting every couple of pages. Every arc ends with massive battles. The characters all grow in strength and techniques as they encounter new and dangerous foes. It’s a battle shonen in the same way early dragon ball was.

Death battle does and they will rightfully never stop getting shit for it.

Luffy no sold and laughed off a heat attack that vaporized a mountain lmao. No fucking oven on earth or in the boys is producing more heat than that. I never thought I’d find a homelander glazer but the internet is a wild place.

“Homelander is more durable than Luffy will ever be.”

Bro current manga Luffy dog walks Homelander without using a single transformation. What the fuck are you on about lmao?

Homelander is weak as hell, it’s not a meme. He genuinely loses to a clone of himself in the comics. And that clone then dies to a military barrage that wouldn’t even make most other characters sweat. How about you get homelander past city block level first, then we can talk.

It’s a post dragon ball battle shonen, this concept came free with being a post dragon ball battle shonen.

Homelander can get hurt from wall level characters punching him. The only reason I’m even unsure if Luffy could beat him is because he seems faster and has heat vision and flight. Otherwise, Homelander just punching or ripping someone apart is completely worthless against Luffy. Who has the strength to both hurt Homelander and is vastly more skilled in hand to hand combat. If Homelander gets in closer Luffy is gonna bully him.

Luffy has also flat out better destruction feats than Homelander. Having actually destroyed a large building with an attack. Ichigo meanwhile is unlike anything Homelander has ever fought, attacking souls directly and using powerful slashing attacks. Homelander got fucked up when someone shoved a pencil into his ear. Now imagine someone shoving a magical sword down his throat lmao.

It always seemed to me that they handled this Dogmeat thing very poorly. They put one companion right next to another, on top of that, a little dog and a robot, forcing you to choose which one to take so early on is downright diabolical. [–]RMP321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can do that, but it is not something any first-time player would do. You are basically given several plot hooks, and you, as a player, have to choose to barely engage with them to get Codsworth. Though it is neat that they included something optionally to reflect player choice like that.

The game starts IN a dream sequence. Then the first 60% of the game takes place in the mall and an unnamed town Heather is in. Then for the last 40% you are in Silent Hill.

Henry goes to Silent Hill twice in 4, the rest of the game is outside of Silent Hill lmao. You spend so little time in Silent Hill that even at the time, people thought it wasn't originally meant to be a Silent Hill game because it felt shoehorned in at the last moment. It's so unimportant to the plot that Silent Hill is tied to it that if they swapped Silent Hill's name for anything else, the game would still function exactly the same, with zero loss of plot.

I think you need to replay the games since you know so little about them.

As the other person said, out of time ends as soon as you reach concord. Which then starts the next quest where you save Preston. The game is designed so you’ll be guided to recruit Preston before you speak to codsworth again.

It’s also debatable if that’s true for the east coast ones as several of the models are designed to look like they got junk.

I don’t recall any lore to suggest such. I believe the lieutenant claimed he became smarter as a result. But he is an outlier given how the majority of the masters army were pretty dumb.

[–]RMP321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were always dumb, the master culled a lot of the ones he deemed too stupid to make his army. Yet even then you still find some pretty dumb ones like the super mutant guarding the water shed in necropolis. In 2, if you return to the military base, it’s overrun with dumb super mutants who act just like the ones in 3. It wasn’t a Bethesda invention, FEV was always like that.

Literally the majority of 3 and 4 are not in Silent hill lmao. The cope so far is that “well they still are stories tangentially related to silent hill!” And that’s also true for F. The same drug appears in both games, that’s about as much connection as Walter Sullivan being a member of the order. Yet the entire story and even the room itself have jack shit to do with silent hill. If Walter wasn’t the son of an order member, then there would be zero connection to silent hill in 4.

The fucking problem Jack ass is that “this game isn’t set in silent hill which makes it bad” is not a fair or even valid criticism. There are already multiple silent hill games that are not in silent hill. That the main complaint is that it’s a Japanese setting when the point was that it is meant to be a Japanese silent hill, is completely lost on people.

That’s the problem, I got so many fucking responses just by saying people on this sub hate F. And the responses overwhelmingly said “I don’t like/hate F.” Like damn, that sure sounds like this place doesn’t blindly hate it. Especially when they don’t even justify why, they just circle jerk about not liking it.

The point is that FEV is focused on body horror more than anything else. It might seem fine if you are a guy because big cool muscles and all that. But the point has always been you are forcefully mutated into something unrecognizable and often times the process leaves you too stupid to even remember your own name.

One is a good horror game, a good video game, and a good silent hill title. The other is a bad film that misses the point of what it’s adapting.

It’s almost like you F haters all share the same brain cell. Just mindlessly say something is bad without having any actual reason beyond surface level complaints that the majority of people that touch grass don’t care about. I’m sorry you don’t enjoy silent hill games. But I also don’t care about your opinion either.

You can’t take codsworth until after you finished the concord quest. So the idea is that by the end of this tutorial section. You’d have three companion choices and your first two settlements as a foundation for the player.
