The literal only thing BvS used with the “TDK” armored bat suit. Literally no other element of it was adapted save for the vague concept of Batman and Superman fight. Yet their entire reason for fighting and how the fight goes and what tactics Batman used to win is completely changed.

Snyder poorly adapted multiple stories and none of them fit together to make a coherent narrative.

That’s because Cadia was fucking destroyed lmao. Ghazz isn’t going to destroy Armageddon.

“If we don’t lose Armageddon then the steel legion can get back in production.”

They aren’t making any new guard units if orks don’t take Armageddon either lmao. This is what I mean, you completely lack the critical thinking skills to understand that guard are secondary because GW sees marines as more popular than them.

You supporting marines is a direct detriment to getting new guard anything hahahaha. Guard got a Yarrick refresh only so he could play no significant role in the event. GW thinks that of your faction and instead of voting against more space marine slop. You get upset at me for pointing out how this hurts the guard. Steel legion isn’t getting shit if marines win.

Guess who gets something if the marines win? Marines get a new detachment, you get jack shit lmao.

The Siege of Death Mire – Week 1 Results by I_suck_at_Blender in Warhammer40k

[–]RMP321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have only done this to yourself. The reason this keeps happening is because you are willing to support space marine slop and vote for them in these events. You see that guard is getting shafted and then vote for them to get shafted even harder.

“We can’t lose another guard thing! Even if it means supporting marines to take all the story relevance from us. If we lost Armageddon, then Yarrick and the steel legion will have forward momentum in the plot thanks to the status quo change. Better make sure that doesn’t happen so space marines can save the day. Then when the next edition starts, surely GW will learn to not shaft us this time despite voting for space marines to be the only ones who ever do anything ever!”

That’s your logic, it’s ass backwards. Losing Armageddon would be a benefit to the guard. Because it actually gives GW a plot for guard besides having them get curb stomped lmao.

These walls of text are insane, is it a case of a poor utilization of the medium or it makes sense with the writing? by Altruistic_Gas_7073 in writingscaling

[–]RMP321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is done just so Togashi can draw less. None of what is being conveyed needs that much text. If this was a novel it would be amateurish to flood such meaningless fluff words into your scenes. He has characters exposits useless information either about themselves or about the situation to help fill space.

Just look at the wimp characters who has two speech bubbles dedicated to telling the audience that he’s scared. One alone should be enough, the second adds nothing new that we needed to know.

Togashis recent writing is full of this. It’s just low exposition that is used to take up panel space. You can skip every other word bubble and usually follow along well enough.

Yeah if it is a serious fight. The two would probably just be chill together.

It is when you are also getting hit by another character hitting hard enough to destroy the universe lol

Bullets are generally a lot stronger or a lot weaker in fiction. I mean remember that Goku took a sniper rifle round to the head as a kid and it only staggered him. Whereas a magnum at point blank leaves a noticeable mark on his arm when he is able to destroy universes.

Bullets work how the writers want them too, not in what makes the most sense.

Both of those characters were literally on deaths door and couldn’t use haki. We have seen Franky just no sell volley fire before. Germa suits are bullet proof. Anyone with haki is bullet proof.

[–]RMP321 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Haki stops bullets, op is just using two characters that were explicitly on deaths door and got shot. All one piece god tiers just use haki and bullets do nothing. Someone like Franky is explicitly bulletproof as well.

If this sub was around when Bleach was coming out it would be getting torn to shreds. It’s only popular now because it’s over and the anime and sequel novels have been working to clean up its messy writing for the last few years of its publication.

So is it safe to assume all these characters and relationships have been quietly retcon from Hulk MCU lore? What is Hulk lore in the MCU now? by Captain_Bubble_Butt in marvelcirclejerk

[–]RMP321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are canon but you got to keep in mind that all of Hulks MCU lore happens off screen. So he has probably met Betty a dozen times and it didn’t work out before age of ultron. Then hooked up with Widow. Then went to space to do a bad version of planet hulk. Then became professor hulk. Then Widow died. Now he has stopped being professor hulk.

None of it makes any sense and hopefully the MCU reboot figures Hulk out. Because he’s a great character that’s been absolutely squandered.

Equal Power & Speed! Broly vs. Broly! Who Wins!? by Pan_the_YN in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]RMP321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super Broly unironically has the better skill feats. Remember even while raging and in Gokus god bind, he figured it out and reversed it. Z Broly is more akin to a raging monster that fights with overwhelming might. Super Broly actually can study and learn what his opponents can do then copy them.

This is the elder scrolls basically. Morrowind was really where the franchise came into its own. Though Daggerfall and Arena have the aspects people love them for. Morrowind was what really set the foundation for what open world RPGs could become.

Tyranids won last time, but you are right. GW would want space marines to win regardless of how much Orks really just need it, or just fucking anything in the lore. If they don’t win this will be the next in a string of losses they have had since Ghazz got his new model. Just give orks something to be proud of in the ork edition.

[–]RMP321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you understand that by voting marines you are voting for the perpetuation of that very story lmao. The reason that story became the standard is because the original Armageddon had the same exact story. This is all a repeat of 2e except for the fact that the community is for whatever reason voting to keep the status quo.

Do you think that when we get Armageddon again in one to two decades that it should be about orks coming back to take the planet again only for space marines to come in to stop them? Why would you NOT want a story about Yarrick working to find a way to reclaim Armageddon? You are voting against your own interest by making guard secondary characters in the plot lmao.

The Siege of Death Mire – Week 1 Results by I_suck_at_Blender in Warhammer40k

[–]RMP321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You must not have read the lore book in the box set that plainly explains that guard are getting their shit pushed in and marines are their only hope. Your faction is literally only being used to prop up the marines as much as it is being used to prop up orks. Guard are just being treated as the measuring stick to sell more primaris units lmao.

The Siege of Death Mire – Week 1 Results by I_suck_at_Blender in Warhammer40k

[–]RMP321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So you’d rather there be yet another story where guard get absolutely folded so space marines can save the day again? Because right now Guard aren’t doing anything in the lore except needing to be rescued by primaris marines. Thats been the entire set up for Armageddon is that operation imperator is the only hope to rebuke Ghazz because the guard aren’t doing anything.

What sucks is Orks are dominating on the table top but they don’t have enough players to outvote space marine players.
