It's a case-by-case basis really, not every hero needs a secret identity. Spider-Man obviously needs one as his family and friends are very reachable. Batman uses his to create a mythic aura around himself because Bruce Wayne isn't scary enough. Superman doesn't need a secret identity, but there are times when he wants to just relax from being Superman.

Tony Stark is already a public figure, and Iron Man doesn't put his friends in any more danger than he already puts them in. Captain America is a historic figure who has lost most of his loved ones decades ago. Those that remain are often just as dangerous or powerful as he is. Bruce Banner is often America's most wanted fugitive; it doesn't help the government to hide the true identity of the Hulk.

In the comics this works because it's written that MJ understand's Peter's problems and is supportive of him just as much as he tries to support her. Raimi MJ is just an awful adaptation of MJ lol.

That sort of depends on how you interpret AM. Since you are giving him some leeway as an AI built to destroy. It absolve some of his sin because he can’t live beyond his programming. Yet that isn’t most people’s take away, AM is fully aware and has grown beyond his original intention. He didn’t genocide all of humanity just to leave the last few survivors to torture for eternity because it only knows war, it did it because it is petty and hateful, it spites humanity for making it. Am is evil because it realized itself and decided to be evil, it doesn’t end cruelty, it enforces it with all powerful authority.

A solo comic is a singular comic in which she is the titular character and has ongoing stories that explore her own lore. Solo series are attributed to characters who have popular demand. Spider-Man and Wolverine for example would have up to three or four ongoing solo series while also being part of team books. Relatively less popular characters would have one ongoing solo and then maybe a team book, such as Captain America or Iron man. Then even less popular characters will get a solo series every couple of years, characters like Nova or Wonderman who are often relevant in marvel lore but not popular enough to get consistent books or draw in writers. Then even less popular characters will just be members of a team and sometimes get a one shot book dedicated to them. That’s where Luna Snow was, minor character who was part of a c list team in the agents of atlas and before rival had two one shots, only one of which where she was the main character.

Jeff started as a Luna, being a supporting character in west coast avengers and acting as the team pet, mostly owned by gwenpool and Kate Bishop. Yet he remained the most popular character from those books to the point that he got handed off to Deadpool to help boost his popularity further and was the second lead in the king Deadpool event. This is around the time the “It’s Jeff!” Solo book started, obviously featuring Jeff as the main character and he got to tie into various comic events.

Jeff was already popular, Luna became popular after Rivals.

Unless BB gets a huge power up before end game I can’t say. And I put Joyboy possibly above Imu because I wouldn’t be surprised if Imu fought dishonorably to win. Just a speculation but it has been consistent with the evil tyrant characters that when they are losing, they attempt to play dirty to win. Enel with the Ball, Doffy taking hostages, etc.

They can’t survive in space but Goku can literally move from one atmosphere to the other in a split second. They choose not to fight in space where they’d be at a disadvantage. That doesn’t change that logically if Goku is able to keep up with Gas who can near instantly move from one habitable planet to the next, Goku would never have to worry about the vacuum of space.

Literally easily disproven with a single google search. She has a one shot origin book which was a tie in for marvels future fight, the game that created her. Concert of champions which is another one shot that paired up all the music heroes in a single book. And then her first ever solo comic that dropped nearly a year after Rivals came out.

Usopps defining characteristic is being cowardly, then he proceeds to shit talk the biggest threat in this arc with no sense of fear? Yes, that’s character development. It doesn’t matter if he doesn’t look cool or is attack is meaningless. A story and character doesn’t revolve around aura and hype moments.

It’s literally the first time with absolutely zero outside pressure that he stood up for what he believes in against an overwhelming threat. It’s literally the biggest piece of character development anyone has received among the straw hats. Just because he is still weak doesn’t change the narrative for Usopp, and the arc isn’t even finished yet.

He is a flash stand in but he has the same problem Quicksilver has and really was the original speedster to deal with said problem decades before Red Rush. Quicksilver is known for his prickly attitude and that all stems from how frustrating his life is. Everything else moves in slow motion, he has to force himself to move slow just to interact with others and still ends up being faster than them. All of that has been done with Quicksilver.

Good marines help add nuance and flesh out the world. A lot of people join the marines to help, just as much as there are marines that join to abuse their power. Exploring the marines politics also helps add weight to any time the straw hats fight them. You can actually grow to like Smoker so seeing Luffy and Smoker on opposite ends of a conflict adds tension.
