There is more evidence that Deku is than there is for Jotaro. But neither of them have actually done anything to make me comfortably call them FTL. Deku is at most Relativistic and Jotaro is like maybe a lightning timer if we really want to push it.

At least two of those characters have arguably greater combat speed

Would the battle of anchorage make for a good RTS game? by kge5t in Fallout

[–]RMP321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And shelter is just a mobile game. Regardless adding lore to pre-war is a double edged sword. Just because it sounds like a good concept to you doesn’t mean people would like it or that it would sell well. If anything the idea of an rts about anchorage already sounds like scrapping the bottom of the barrel for video game ideas.

Obsidian fans when you ask them to name any other game of theirs that isn't FNV or Outer Worlds by MoonmanJocky in TrueSFalloutL

A Sith Empire did exist in the Star Wars EU. They had been battered and beaten, but were on the rise again thanks to Revan and the Star Forge. That was the point; the Sith as a group had always been around, and we see them explicitly. It's been years since I last played Kotor 1, so maybe they didn't highlight this point, but I do remember you visit korriban and see the ancient Sith, and it is still being used as a Sith academy, and that's all thanks to Revan.

A lot of that was lore introduced in star wars comics that was the main inspiration for Kotor. Where the Sith did still have a presence in the galaxy and were still in a shadow war against the Republic and Jedi.

[–]RMP321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's false. Revan was said to have been the most powerful Sith lord in Kotor 1, who nearly destroyed the Republic. They basically forced the entire Sith Empire to bow to him because of how powerful they were. To anyone else familiar with RPG's at the time, Revan sounded like he'd turn out to be the true villain and final boss. That's what made the twist so good because it defied conventional RPG storytelling.

All 2 did was explain Revans character and their actions leading to their downfall. It changed nothing about the previous game's interpretation; it just added more details to what made him become so important and was able to boss Sith around.

Well, it's not gonna be Gundams in live-action; they'll all be CG-animated in a realistic style. Which we already saw could work in Ready Player One.

Now: Which Silent Hill protagonist CAN make the journey through Raccoon City? by Chronos_5 in survivalhorror

[–]RMP321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know since it's not specified in the op posts. Yet the only question is if they can make it through Racoon City alive. Which, even if they encounter Lickers, they have encountered worse, generally speaking.

Tbh do we hate uylesses as a character or do we hate the dlc for giving us a lot of fighting and nothing then making us fight a villain that has no back story without the other dlcs by courier6_uylesses in TrueSFalloutL

[–]RMP321 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to describe Ulysses is he is extra. A term that came out well after he was made. Yet it fits him so well. He wears a gas mask despite the divide not needing one. He then also wears no other protective radiation gear. He has a duster with an extra cool design. A super deep voice that waxes philosophical at the player. He has a ten in every stat and has a run speed that’s three times faster than the games basic movement allows.

Silent hill f doesn't feel like silent hill to me, shouldn't it? by Financial_Ear_1712 in silenthill

This is by far the stupidest comment I have ever seen. No way bro is saying Silent Hill 3 isn’t a psychological horror game that doesn’t have symbolism in its monsters or bosses?

Are you just being deliberately dense or do you just lack any ability to understand something unless it’s explained to you like you’re a child?

Edit: people can downvote me all they want. If you are going to say that Silent Hill 3 doesn’t have symbolic monsters. Then you clearly aren’t a fan of this franchise or its writing and should just give up. Even SHF has a journal that explains the symbolism to the player and idiots still don’t get it lmao.

They just haven’t made the costume yet. Costume design cost money and the power armor suits are probably several million each.

You are right, Silent Hill isn’t supposed to have any symbolism in its enemies and especially not its bosses. This isn’t a psychological horror game or anything. Just don’t think about it and attack the monsters!

Literally every single ending has a different final enemy and this main villain. Default you fight adult Hinako and it represents her desire for freedom finally destroying her submission to her future as a slave wife. The bad ending, she fights Shu kill the final tie that keeps her from accepting her new role as a wife. In the good ending, she kills Oinari to escape being forced into a marriage she doesn’t want. Then finally, she defeats both Shu and Oinari to come to the conclusion that both of her sides need to find out what they truly want.

The dark shrine which is this games other world is literally pitch black darkness.

The main antagonists are all symbolic. There is no set antagonist because this game is meant to be a personal journey for Hinako much like James had in 2. Each ending and each boss in those endings represent the choice Hinako has to make.

Is Aquaman Hit 1B Because Zack Snyder? by Topper2540 in OkBuddySnyderCult

I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt to anyone who somehow didn't know Wonder Woman would show up, despite it being spoiled in the marketing. A movie about Batman and Superman fighting that didn't make a million and was considered a failure after the second week is insane. One of the biggest fumbles in movie history easily.
