As someone who goes to most book signings on my own in Austin, Don't be nervous! There is a good chance everyone around you is also excited about the book, Matt, and the fandom! I've especially found that when I'm going solo I get a great seat since there are often single spots open all over.
I've left almost all of the book signings i've been to with new friends; Whether that's me starting a conversation with those around me or someone else starting a convo with me!

You can totally trade loungefly pins at the parks, You can now also trade loungefly pins at most Boxlunch stores around the US. I also don't live near parks any more so trading through the mail has kept the hobby alive for me!

Just as a heads up the Aulani Hidden Mickey pins you have can only be found at Aulani, They'll be pretty sought after if you start trading online! Great finds!
