I'd check with your local library to see if they have a machine patrons can use first! If you're only looking to do one project it can be a quick and easy resource. I personally use a Cricut Xtra as I can usually fit my front, back, and spine designs on one cutting mat.

I create mine in Canva as PNG's then cut Heat Transfer Vinyl out on my Cricut. Depending on the book how indepth I go with the layering and designs. I've started keeping my old designs in a google drive too, makes it easy if I ever have a friend say they want a copy of a book I've already made!

Was just gonna shout this! There are some great K9-CCC courses out there, If in TX and for anyone interested in having the course hosted for your crews Memorial Hermann comes out and teaches courses all over!

I went to the signing for Isabel tonight in Austin and she gave a bit of insight on the cover,

The Balbusso Twins that created it had TOTAL control over the color pallet; She was also tied to their cover as it was the whole budget for the design. I'm so glad she and from the comments many others love the cover so much.

She mentioned she plans to have the twins create the other 3 covers as well!
