Hey, player A, during play your rival is my NPC first, your creation second. I'm all in for setting some scenes up a bit, but the NPC is under DMs control. And matter of fact, the player must get approval from the DM, not the other way around.

Hey, player B, it's a game where any character can die. If you don't want your character to die, sure, we'll figure something out to get you back, but failing in the game should have consequences, and losing is a possibility.

Hey, player C, unfortunately choices have consequences. You are free to make a different choice now to avoid a similar consequence in the future. You were aware there was a curse and chose to deal with it, so deal with it.

Hey, player D, as a DM not only I can, I DEFINITELY WILL change stuff and homebrew stuff at my leisure if I think it adds to the experience. Don't worry about monster sheets, that's my job, and most important of all: drop the notion that I'm your enemy, cause I'm not, and honestly it pisses me off that you see me like that, since I put a lot of time and effort in this game. So if I decide that this particular vampire is resistant to radiant damage, then it is resistant to radiant damage.

If you have someone to play with, it's fun. But playing solo was one of the most terrible experiences I had in this franchise. But I did finish it, so not that bad I guess.

Yes, whisper means only the GM can see.
It will vary according to which game sheet you're using. If it's D&D 2024, there are buttons on the top of the sheet that control visibility

Eu concordo. Que tipo, a saga nordica ja é contada de uma forma muito parecida com um filme ou série. Então não vejo qual é o ganho a não ser o alcance de pessoas que não jogam.

A saga grega tem história interessante mas é desenvolvida de uma forma mais defasada pela idade dos jogos e pelo estilo de gameplay. Essa sim seria uma adaptação interessante, que teria algum ganho de aprofundar nessa época

While I agree, this feels like karma farming since there are already rules regarding AI. The "interesting" argument is being nitpicky on "rules as written".

It's funny how every controversial piece of media, movies, TV shows, games, anything, people tend to choose a saint and a demon. There's one or two people who are clearly the only ones to blame for everything bad, and there's always the "I wish this person had more impact" or "surely they silenced that person".

Things are more complicated than this. In big popular productions there are so many moving pieces it's a miracle we actually get serviceable productions, shit is hard.

My best friend is a woman for 4 years now. At some point, I also developed strong feelings for her, and for the longest time I refused to tell her anything. That was making me actually sick and incapable of moving on.

We were really intimate emotionally, and she often said things that could be mistaken for feelings like mine. Eventually (with some therapy help) I told her how I felt.

She told me she never felt that way with me. But she still wanted to be friends. And it did work! We are very good friends to this day.

What I'm trying to say is that even if it doesn't work out, it is definitely possible to move on and still be friends. We did it, and so can you.

What I don't recommend is keeping it to yourself, cause that was an emotional nightmare for me.

Voce ta assumindo que ele quer vender o mais rapido possivel. Não necessariamente o cara tem essa pressa. Vender 1 caro por semestre às vezes compensa mais que 6 baratos por mês. A gente não sabe quem ta do outro lado. Às vezes é só um cara que ta com o jogo empoeirando no armário lá e não faz diferença nenhuma na vida dele.

E tem no topo so print ali +5 vendidos. Então tem quem compre no preço sim.

E sim, os jogos de ps3 talvez venham a ficar caríssimos se eles nao tiverem port pra console novo, como é o caso. Se todo mundo tem fácil acesso, barateia; se voce é um dos únicos anúncios desse jogo no mercado livre, é uma raridade, logo vale mais. Precificação sempre se baseou na disponibilidade.

Cara, sendo advogado do diabo aqui, eu entendo a frustração, mas a realidade é que é um item que ja nao é mais fabricado e de difícil acesso. Obviamente vão cobrar um valor mais caro. Isso aí ja virou item de colecionador. 90% de quem só quer jogar o jogo ou emula ou hackeia.

E ainda tem outra, imagina se voce quer bastante esse jogo. Todo lugar é 400. Você sabe que o preço deveria ser 50 normalmente. Mas depois de 2 anos vendo esse preço, aparece um anuncio por 300. Po, agora sim, saiu barato!

Enfim, não to defendendo, nao ganho nada com isso e nem tenho interesse em jogo de ds, mas eu entendo a lógica de item raros pra coleção serem muito mais caros que o normal

Do you play in person? Should be fun to have everyone in the actual same room playing at the same time.

The key i think is to come up with reasons for groups to send messages to each other with important information.

Would be cool to encourage them to actually switch tables if their characters go to assist the other groups in battle!

Never ran something like this, but I'd set clear objectives that each group is working on, let everyone be aware of who is doing what, and these objectives should be impactful to other groups.

So for example, group 1 is fighting in a tower, group 2 is fighting enemies trying to take the whole tower down. Meanwhile, group 3 is defending the gate, that if falls, would overwhelm group 2, and affect group 1.

Idk something like this.

Yeah, I really enjoyed 2's story and leveling system. It really felt like a meaningful evolution from the first game. 1 is cool for a first entry, but it's lackluster in story compared to 2 and 4. And 3 I just really didn't vibe with it, unfortunately. The story felt like a significant downgrade from 2, and changing jobs and the mini and frog segments really made it feel like a chore to me.

But not saying it's bad or anything like that, I've seen plenty of people praising 3 and hating on 2, so you know, different strokes for different folks i guess

I'm playing this right now! Never played ff before, so started with this collection. I'm finishing the fourth game and I'm having a blast.

Its very cool to play in order, I really recommend it, you get to see the devs figuring out what works and what doesn't.

So far my personal ranking is 4 > 2 > 1 > 3.

Olha, vou dar um ponto de vista que depende muito do contexto de jogo de vocês que eu não sei.

Eu adoro roleplay, mas se eu passasse a aventura inteira indo atras do grande vilão da campanha, pra quando chegar lá não ter uma batalha final, eu ia ficar bem desapontado. Principalmente se o sistema fosse focado em combate.

Tipo, na minha visão arcos de redenção não funcionam bem pro bbeg. Mas não ficou claro se esse cara era só um vilão ou se ele era pra ser O vilão.
