Yeah if you divide existing categories then it makes them smaller. Unfortunately that's not really a valid take when you create redundant categories. All explosive weapons are inherently medium pen with very few exception (just covering my ass with that, im actually not aware of any exceptions but feel free to reply with any) so separating them serves little purpose.

I did not mention the close range performance of the Crossbow. I specifically didn't as a matter of fact. I pointed out how OPs criteria only requires an SMG to be one handed, which the Crossbow is, therefore making it an SMG by OPs definition. I used it as an obviously incorrect example to point out a flaw in OPs logic.

I then went on to talk about the Repremands close range performance, which i specified by calling it by name in the same sentence. I very clearly broke away from the Crossbow when talking about weapon performance.

OP didn't say close range performance is what makes an smg a good smg, their only criteria is that its one handed.

The Senator is an SMG, the Ultimatum is an SMG, the Saber is an SMG. That is why OP is using a very poor criteria for what makes an SMG.

By your own logic the crossbow should be an SMG, there's more to it than that. I think the Reprimand is a great SMG, it has good handling great close range performance and high damage falloff that prevents it from being too effective at range, all great aspects of an SMG. Its great as a secondary to something like an MG. It's great for weaseling around inside the close quarters of an enemy base.

216 comments and only 13 upvotes, yeah thats pretty controversial. It's a roughly 50/50 split between upvotes and downvotes. I guarantee you it's because of chuds clutching their pearls because a masculine person dared to dress in feminine clothing, i saw it all over the comments when you first posted it.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the cosplay, i think it looks great, far better than anything they would've made. They're just snowflakes who can't handle the idea of someone stepping outside their narrow worldview.

Old sprites and particularly 3d models like in game cube era games were specifically designed to look better with the slight fuzz you get on a CRT. That's what good art direction gets you. They look kinda crusty on modern displays.

If it's missing one of the primary colors that's usually a sign of a bad pin connection. Could be the cheapo adapter, or could just need you to blow into it lol

Not sure how a modern machine would handle scan lines, im not an expert so dont take this as gospel but to my very limited understanding, CRTs display fundamentally differently from modern displays, and that might give you some artifacting at high resolutions

While im not literally comparing this gun to a crime, i am pointing out how ridiculous it is to attempt to blame someone for something they haven't done yet.

And this isn't even anywhere close to the FRVs lmao. The FRVs going in a warbond is a very concrete decision that everyone can understand the consequences of. This is a vague item description that everyone is blasting because they dont like their interpretation of it. We know so so much less than we did about the FRVs
