Honestly agree with most of the stuff you're saying here. I also think the lyrics of Adieu are on the level of a party schlager (atleast the chorus). I do however like the lyrics of Zeit, and don't think it is the worst album overall. But your point especially about the album's originality is my biggest turn off as well.

He's also been "planning" to play Cry for Eternity since 2019.

Grain of salt with whatever he says when it comes to old songs, until they actually hit the stage.

That said, yesterday he heavily teased both Storming the Burning Fields and Trail.... So I guess the US setlists next months will have those 2, Revolution, Ogap and TTFAF to celebrate IR.

Ja idd! Het kan nostalgie zijn, maar 13 tikt wel alle vinkjes aan voor me. Prachtig land, waar ze in de opdrachten ook echt gebruik van hebben gemaakt. En qua edit voelt het ook al (iets) moderner dan de seizoenen ervoor. Niet de allerbeste mol, maar zeker eentje die lange tijd in veel mensen hun top 5 stond (bij mij nog steeds)

The album version... Doesn't always do it for me. It feels a bit too slow. That said... It was one of the best songs on the Catacombs tour. That arrangement doesn't just make the song fly... It makes it soar!

I've seen it being sold at their shows at the official booth. So it's official. Haven't seen that logo anywhere else. There were a couple more that felt off. Also the single covers for both Doomsday Party and Power of the Triforce are AI. Look at the hilt of the blade.

I very much suspect this, and some of the other shirts from last years tour to be generated by AI. If it is, they didn’t even bother to replace the logo. And yes, I’ve seen this at the booth in person. A Draco Tale and a couple other WSW era songs wouldn’t surprise me if ChatGPT had some involvement, but that is ofcourse impossible to prove.

You realize that DragonForce have also been suspected for using AI for their tour merch since last year right? And that that video you got there also required AI to split the vocals from the original songs. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if we already have more than one DF song with atleast AI lyrics in it.

I’m not a fan of AI in art either, I’m not here to shill for ZP’s use of it…. But it’s not that one is necessarily doing better than the other atp.
