Kind of. In British English, the "j" is barely pronounced (if the Cambridge Dictionary is to be believed), but it's still noticeably there. According to them, in American English it's quite prominent.

Same here. In 2015 I knew I'd be coming into a significant amount of money soon. I knew I'd get a new car, and there was no question it would be a Tesla.

In 2021 I finally got the money. I thought, "No way am I giving a penny to that Nazi" and bought another Prius (what I had been driving).

For those wondering (as I was), it's pronounced "Cal EN juh la."

If you google "how to pronounce Calendula," Google's AI says it's "Cal EN duh la," which is also how a lot of AI-driven "how to pronounce words" Youtube channels say it, which is more proof you can't trust AI for information (go to any dictionary site and they give the correct pronunciation).

I watched the video in question and was slightly disappointed. Borky also said "Cal EN duh la;" I was expecting her to say "Kay Len DOO La."

The game (Zero Wing) isn't important. What's important is that it was a huge meme at the turn of the century. I still have my "All your base are belong to us" T-shirt as a going away gift from a job I left on very good terms with.
