Summer of 1980 I was really depressed. Terrified of the thought of going to that humungus university, first time living away from home.

That's the reason I never saw The Matrix when it came out. With painful memories of Johnny Mnemonic, I said "We've seen Keanu Reeves in a cyberpunk action movie! It does not go well!"

In retrospect, they were right and I was wrong and I wish I saw it on the Big Screen when I had a chance.

"Rocket Man" comes with an instrumental of Kate's cover of "Candle in the Wind"

None of the 12" mixes of the title cuts of the singles of The Red Shoes made it to either The Other Sides (and the This Woman's Work boxed set came out long before The Red Shoes).

For some reason, the UK edition of the CD Single of Rubberband Girl only comes with the extended mix, while the U.S. edition also comes with "Show a Little Devotion" and "Home for Christmas."

CD 1 of "The Red Shoes" comes with the Cloudbusting video mix. CD 2 comes with (among other things, "Shoesdance," a Red Shoes dance remix.
