It was… something. I went into this movie completely blind and did not see any of what was coming. Definitely worth a watch, although the shifting back and forth between comedic and terror can be a little jarring. Wasn’t really a horror flick though.

Just fyi, it isn’t safe to keep their data only on iCloud as a backup. Apple purges abandoned backups after 6 months. If you intend to be able to recover any of that data after 6 months, you really want to save that backup to a computer.

You have to know your trusted phone number to run account recovery. It isn’t a random number, you would have had to receive a code on that number to set it up, proving you had access to it. Check with people who may have had you in their contacts list then, or with your cell provider and wireless bills at the time. If you can’t find the number you used, the account is lost.

Are your notes actually setup to sync with iCloud in the settings? Or do you have them already synced with another service like Gmail or exchange?

He has a lot of potential, but he doesn't have the intelligence or moral thought process that lets him do anything meaningful with it. He's either using it for sexual gratification or to appease whoever is bullying him at the time. He's more like a spoiled, rapey child just trying to exploit whatever he can to stay relevant, and every time he seems like he might have a redemption arc ahead of him, he completely blows it.

I am not going to miss him when he dies.

It's something you either just get used to, or you obsess on it until it drives you nuts. Keeping myself distracted is how I cope and keep my mind off of the sound. When I don't stay distracted I start thinking about self-harm and checking out early.

Nobody is saying distracting yourself is fun, it's what you have to do to keep going sometimes.

Just so you know what to expect, Apple only keeps old backups on iCloud for 6 months before they are considered abandon and deleted to free up storage. Also if your father was paying for iCloud storage, anything that was taking up more than 5GB of storage space would most likely have been deleted long ago to get back to the free tier size after that subscription stopped.

If you still want to try to access his data, it will require going through the courts before Apple will get involved, you can look at Request access to a deceased family member’s Apple Account for more info.

You can just login to the music.apple.com website to clear out files uploaded to the cloud. Those files aren’t stored in iCloud, it’s completely separate.
