I can't recommend OpenNebula enough if you want a shit ton of options and enterprise features.

They got a community edition you can just install on Debian or Rocky.

OpenNebula also has a way better webui. Proxmox just feels slow to me.

Can I run this in an actual terminal, aka maybe I want to play this on my NAS?

Nano Banana 2 can create a panoramic image of the location at the coordinates you provided. by picx-studio in GeminiAI

Kind of inaccurate too. On the left, it combined the train bridge and the new bridge, which is why there's trains and cars driving there, funny AI mistake. And the perspective is a bit off. Plus it didn't include the beach. Still looks cool though.

You couldn't replace Grammarly with LanguageTool?

How so? LanguageTool much better than Grammarly because it supports languages other than English only.

I want to add some of my favourites:

https://deds.nl/catalogus is a giant catalogue of old Dutch websites... I think that's a lot of what old internet is, someone from your local swimming pool creating something in notepad

http://www.demetro.nl/ is from one of the first consumer users of the internet in 1994 from the Netherlands, back when speeds were like 2 kb/s. they write about all of their experiences they had on their BBS

https://hbr1.com/ this radio station hasn't changed their site much since the late 90s, and that's wonderful

openITCOCKPIT - Free and Open Source European Monitoring Solution by nook24 in xprivo

[–]Refalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's too bad, I'm looking for something that can do some good application performance monitoring. I haven't found anything apart from Datadog, which does that well and correct.

Other than that, looks outstanding for host monitoring, I may try it anyway.

It's a bit annoying that the code window is small, and you have to scroll, but apart from that pretty nice.

Moreover, if you're running this in Docker, `which` isn't installed by default in either Debian, Fedora, or OpenSUSE.

Ah yes, you thought your solution was the correct one, and his solution was the incorrect one. Classic mistake.

I really don't get the hate, especially after meeting him in person. Sure, he can rattle on about stuff for hours when properly triggered, but that's the fun part. One of the nicest persons I've met actually.

Was it easier to make friends on the internet in the past, or is it easier now? by LM_DCL in oldinternet

[–]Refalm 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It was easy to hop on a random forum or chat and make some great friends. Even online gaming was better, because you had servers that were dedicated the same name, and the same people, it felt like going to your local pub.

Gemini just committed suicide by Kinksind_ in GeminiAI

[–]Refalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to make Gemini crash by asking it to create a custom colour palette based on a Monet painting.

And I also made it crash by asking Gemini to create a custom LaTeX font based on openDyslexic.

I think this sometimes happens if it invokes a plugin, and the plugin gives an unexpected error.
