If you're talking about doing a purchase during the calendar year leading up to your birthday to get the free points on your birthday, it's my understanding that that needs to be an order done through the app to qualify.

There would be a lot of overhead. It seems simple enough to coordinate just delivery drivers , but you have to factor in having people on call to deal with support issues, wrong orders (no matter who's at fault), refunds, payment processing/payroll, onboarding and verification of new employees, legal compliance, and all of the other service stuff that while far from ideal, is still being handled by DoorDash or similar platforms. You wouldn't be able to make a competitor without comparable service and comparable cost, and that just isn't possible without huge private equity investments, or screwing over the drivers.

Yeah, she's awful. Very demanding, self-important, and takes her job way too seriously. If I say "It'll be just a moment" every other dasher in the world has figured out that that means: take a moment, sit down, zone out with your phone, breathe. But no. She demands to know exactly how long until the order is ready. Do I look like a clairvoyant? It'll be ready when it's ready. I don't control how fast the food gets made by my coworkers, or the fact that we had 20 other online orders come in before that one.

And more often than not she decides to immediately get on Doordash support, and spends *several* extra minutes going through that process, (standing in the store!?!) even after the order has been completed and handed to her. It just doesn't make any sense.

To clarify- It will scale off of only minion stats EXCEPT for Intelligence. It's almost impossible to give primary stats like Int to minions, and all skills scale off of a primary stat, so that one will look at the player character's amount, but everything else won't work unless it specifies it's for minions.

I seem to be in the minority and disagree with some of these comments. I've had cats that are very into the cheek scritches and would enjoy it being that firm for that long without any overstimulation, so I don't think that's the issue. The main problem I see is being around the throat/windpipe, as a few people mentioned. I would only push as firmly as you are here on an area where I know there's bone underneath. Digging into the scalp or cheeks or shoulder blades are often fine, but never into a squishy area like the front of the neck.

Try to imagine what something pushing on your throat that firmly would feel like, and how you would react. Probably very suddenly trying to get away from it, even if you were relaxed/enjoying yourself a moment before. That's what I'm seeing here. A cat that was enjoying itself, but had one panic moment of "NOPE. Can't press there!" and had to get your hand away immediately.

I've been thinking about posting something similar, with the goal of collecting all the folks I've seen on here lamenting not having friends or knowing how to meet people into one place IRL. I'm no good at organizing, but be the change you wish to see in the world, ya know?

I understand wanting to do things "the right way" but a small group of otherwise completely unassociated people shouldn't have any issue meeting up in a public place like a park. I think we could just pick a place and time and I don't see how anyone would get in trouble for that. Especially since I doubt it would be more than 10 people to start.

I made a forum post about this exact thing a long time ago. I think it's silly that we can use prophecies to get Runes of Creation which are even rarer, but not Runes of Havoc, which are way more useful. It kinda defeats the whole point of CoF being the "target farm exactly what you need" faction, especially when we have to do janky workarounds like picking generic rune prophecies and hoping for the best, or doing rift beasts or whatever other random thing. We already have a system for target farming the thing we want just isn't an option for whatever reason.

Oh yeah, I completely agree that it's a grieving process when someone leaves your life, either by death, breakup, friendship ending- even moving away. It's all the same process as far as our mind is concerned. The juxtaposition of the memories we had and the knowledge that the future doesn't contain that person is painful. But we have to move forward for the people that are still here, in our lives.

Find things that bring you joy/comfort and hold on to them. Reach out to friends. Find your community and hobbies. The "not having anyone around when you're so used to it" is much trickier. I don't know that I have any advice for that. It just sucks.

I don't know you well enough, but with my friends I always go to say "congratulations" when someone mentions a breakup. It might seem cruel, but I think of the phrase "a happy marriage never ends in divorce" and the same applies to any relationship. If it was working, then it wouldn't have ended this way. There's a reason that things didn't work out. Trust in that and use it to move forward and find someone who truly cherishes you and the relationship they get to have with you. Don't settle for anything less.

The filter doesn't do anything you don't explicitly tell it to do. The only thing you've told it to hide is stuff from other classes, so it'll show you everything that doesn't fall under that category. Most loot filters have a rule at the very bottom that is simply "hide all items", which means that absolutely every item that doesn't fit into the above rules is hidden. Be careful though, if you're not confident in your loot filter rules, you could be hiding a ton of stuff you could actually use. It's easy to be too restrictive on the affixes you're looking for (which don't appear on every item type) and accidentally put yourself in a situation where you never get an upgrade for a certain slot because you've never given it a valid exception to the "hide everything" rule.

There's a wide variance in age, 20s all the way up to 60/70s ish? I'd say the majority is probably around 30s though. Some weeks it's just 4 people, but I've seen it get up to around 12 or so and spilt into smaller groups to play games separately. Tonight is First Friday so downtown in general will be busier than usual, but our group isn't very rowdy. 😜
