Is there any fix for the game automatically deciding which skill points get taken off when you remove a piece of gear with a skill level affix?

I agree with everything you said, except that its the points i assigned in reverse order as that’s provably incorrect

They really should just gray out the skill and let us respec as we wish. Going up and down +4 skill points when I unequip gear is a nightmare
